Since half the post about T8 are mostly complaining about the superior numbers of SF, here’s a change of pace showing what battle in Tier 8 look like. My guild, Tactical Terror (TAC), on reset night. This is raw footage from reset night when we attacked SF BL.

I like videos where you can hear the game and chat rather than playing other music, thanks. And I also prefer being the underdog and not the dominant server. Well done.

omg you are a clicker T8 ftw. Woop portals, when you got time like that use fire fields and blast finishers to stack might before you portal

Never played a mmo before this one (gw1 but doesnt count xd) and the first weeks I was a clicker and felt good(used to play a lot of first person shooter), but then got a naga, highly reccomend it man, not that there is something wrong with clicker but in my case the naga helped a lot.

I read this comment and wrote you off as worthless.

I do a click in my skills from 6-0… 1-5 can be controlled by my left hand. No major issues so far.

Not to tell you how to play but it would help you alot to get a razor naga mouse. The mouse has 12 buttons on the side, 1-5 are your normal 1-5 abilities then keybind 6-10 to shift +1-5.

I know i would never be able to play an engineer without one. normal 1-5 abilities, 6-10 abilities and then 4 toolkit abilities.

I have to say, from your video im not seeing a huge SF presence.

Some of the best players I have ever seen have been clickers. Nothing wrong with that if it works for you.

Clicking will always be inferior to hotkeys. It just is what it is. If you’re clicking, you aren’t using your mouse for other, more important things. Also, you don’t need some “gaming mouse” to stop clicking. Waste of money. Any standard mouse and keyboard works perfectly fine.

About the vid itself, watched a bit here and there, but I don’t think it was particularly edited for content. I’m sure there was some exciting moments, but lot of not much going on between. Maybe next time just start the clips when the fighting begins.

Training yourself to hotkey will always trump clicking, I would suggest unbinding your movement key and forcing yourself to steer with your mouse thus making clicking near impossible, and forcing you to use hotkeys.

So I’m a clicker too. (Is there a support group?). I’ve primarily been a console player my whole life and using a mouse and a keyboard is still VERY awkward to me and I often feel like I’m fighting the control scheme more than I’m fighting my opponents.

Is there some sort of “insructional video” or something that you guys would recommend where I can explore some possible improvements? I’ve seen some posts that talk about using XBox controllers to play this game and I’m really starting to think that may be the only solution for me…

You guys must really live in your moms basement, those with the suave moves know you have to click it before you stick it. I definitely would not engage in such activities with a Naga.

There are settings for that in your OS. Just buy a symmetrical mouse and you’re good to go. There are already left handed keyboards out as well(probably mouses too).

Razer was suppose to release one. The announcements where back in March of 2011 no idea what happened as I would think it would not take a year+ to actually design one. All have to do is swap keys around and such.

Until they fix the naga mouse double click issue, I would not recommend anyone buy it. That is, unless you have $70 to spend every 6 months to replace it. The “fixes” that people have posted last maybe a week, and than back to uncontrollable double clicking.

On a side note, yes a gaming mouse of some sort that lets you not click as many skills will aid you greatly.

Razor Naga is for people with tiny hands. I bought one and gave it to the wife that’s how much I hated it.

That was a fun little fight. The back and forth was enjoyable.

I personally use:
Dodge=Mouse5
6=Mouse4
7=Q
8=E
9=R
0=Shift+R (popping such a long cooldown spell should rightfully require more deliberation)

I wish I had a better solution for relocating my F1-F4, but WASD is so ingrained in my mind from years of FPS gaming that switching to ESDF for an extra column of functionality would require an inordinate amount of time to get used to.

clicking is bad mmk use hotkeys. milliseconds matter in pvp. Doesn’t take to long to learn them and you dont need to go out and buy a crazy mouse, left handers can just use the opposite side of the key board (pl;’). Just watch out for hitting enter
