A way to hide the star?
Huh, guess I never noticed this (and I have a star D=) Would be nice to have that fixed.
I think a fix to it is add the star on mesmer clones.
Honestly I think it’s a bit unfair to mesmers to have the star from world completion to void clones from the equation.

I never knew what this was for the longest time but I targeted the nyerk out people with stars just cuz.
Fix: de-select “Been There, Done That” achievement.

I think mesmers must rage about this especially loud – illusions can’t copy the star. So basically a 80 lvl mesmer with 100% map completion is more easy to kill than 50 mesmer without this star.

A scaled up mesmer would prolly rage too since the illusion can’t copy the scaled up symbol.

Yes! Until I get 100% map completion then it becomes a huge problem for me.

Anyway, WvW is not single player game. Or even PvE. Just by having someone with a star in a party or near might hurt you too, even if you don’t have it.
Hope an option to disable the star is released, especially for WvW .. I feel like I’m getting targeted more since I got it
ppl tend to target carebears more..deal with it
As a Mesmer i don’t give a hoot about my illusion having the star. The problem is when i hide in keeps before the enemy takes them, they CAN SEE ME THROUGH THE WALLS.
I can’t take advantage of people’s stupidity will you fix this A.net.
I’m a guardian wearing full soldier armor. I WANT to be focused. This makes things better for me.
