I see no real difference between two and five minutes in the grand scheme of WvW unless you’re playing on a queued mapped. If a person wants to or needs to be afk, so be it. Jeez, let it go.

It annoys the crap out of me when I waited 20 minutes to get in a queue, zone in and see 20 people akitten spawn.
So yes. Cut it down to 3 minutes.
Should have different tiers depending on how long the queue is. Longest if there is no queue(but still a timer to prevent too many afk people from giving the enemy an outmanned buff during night when there is no queue).
People just set their heal spell to auto-proc and avoid logging out now. The afk thing would only work if that ability was taken away too.
i disagree with this because the other sides will have afk players in more or less the same amount, making it even out.
No, minimum 5 minutes, not sure how much it is now but 10 min would be perfect. Waiting in a queue for an hour and then I gotta brb for a few mins just to get kicked ?
Players also afk (they r actually there just dont move sometimes, 2 mins being way too short lol) in towers/keeps as scouts, should they get kicked as well ?

2 minutes is too short, 10 minutes would be better. You know that in some full servers players need to wait many hours in queue to enter WvWvW. And then be kicked out of the game if a phone rings and they just need to visit bathroom?!
Probably a guild party waiting for members to get through the queue.
They’re not afk – just waiting to start. So messing with the timer won’t help.
It’s actually fine like it is now. The problem is people getting around it by, as mentioned above, allowing an auto-attack skill (heal for example) to keep resetting the timer while they’re off to the beach or something. You need to allow people enough time to use the bathroom without panic-pooping. That could be harmful to people with bad hearts.
Current timer seems just fine.
Auto-activation shouldn’t reset timer though.
Yeah. If they automatically use skills this is no different from using 3rd party programs to gain an advantage.
Even if it is the inbuilt autoattack – then it is an exploit since it is not intended to use it while afk(and benefit from it in a non intended way).
Actually such people should be banned to make space for other people and shorten the queue. I’d strongly recommend to report people that use this.

I’d suggest booting them from the map … banning is a little too severe. If they’re afk auto healing so they can open the map and log into their other account, the booting solves the issue.
Just eliminate the ability to afk auto-heal/attack in WvW and that solves the problem. Only issue is how it would wind up affecting legitimate gameplay where auto-attack/heal is queued up during gameplay. Would suck if you were in the middle of a fight and suddenly booted out for that, lol.
Only temporary bans. As warning. Permanent only if they continue – because they make the queue longer which influences the fun of other players and is against the rules because they unnecessarily have longer queue time.
And only because there is no other way at the moment… of cause if there was an auto detection they just could kick them automatically. Maybe it should check if they are in combat? Afk they surely do it at a place away from combat and it probably does not put them into combat as long as there is no target or the heal target is not in combat?
