To all my fellow guilds in EU wvw. I bring you a home for interest in ASURABALL.

Early days atm, if your part of a guild or have a bunch of friends you could form a team with. Apply register your interest, a place to organise matches, discuss rules, post videos. Cross server matches – fight those guilds your WvW matchup simply won’t allow, but with a twist

Ideally looking for just 1 or 2 per guild/team to apply/register, once we get enough guild/team interest we can start holding tournaments.

If you didn’t know, TUP + MYA are close, good sparring buddies. Before I put this on here, I had already linked to them, inviting them along.

I don’t have the link for their footage in WvW of their asuraball. Once I get it will be on the site as homage.

Adpated for Spvp arena thanks to the collaboration of Ruby from TUP and others from JDGE on Gandara.

This format allows us to create matches at a moments notice and across all European servers.

As I point out, it’s early days yet, the forum is a WIP.

but banishs cooldown seems to be a little bit too high for that game tho.
have you tried other launch skills?

Banish with traits 20s (traited) and having 5 per team make it fine, its mostly about teamwork and not wasting your hits (dodge/esc) to cancel your hit if a teammate has it.

Its based off Bollaball by mya – but uses SPVP so ALL can play each other, on same server… on a server that will never encounter someone you wish to fight, not a problem with SPVP arena.

Fast easy to set up and doesn’t need to worry about who your opponents are in WvW.

Banish works fine, the slightly higher cooldown makes it a bit more tactical. There will almost always be somebody with banish off cooldown, unless you don’t call out your shots properly.

I saw a video of this once. It’s awesome. It’s why creative mmo communities are awesome.

You can count on GG signing up for this, anything for some good fun. Although i have 1 caveat, Wam must be the Asuraball!!!

Slowly getting the guilds to filter in and apply, so we can get some matches on. Available for a match right now, if anyone see’s this in the next 10mins.

Get registered get friendlies arranged, then we can grow this.

Just endured a in-house guild match my team losing 20-13.

Looking forward to playing against TEAM tomorrow evening! Then KA from Piken very soon!

Our guild already plays something very similar in WvW, but we call it the “Polo” event.

i’d like to try to get something together for NA too. i’ve been working on getting a team together on TC, but we don’t have anyone to play against yet. would it be possible to include an NA division on the site to help organize it?

Phantom this is Otto from TC. I will talk to Coral and some others and try to get a team together. We have an arena we could use to play. I am sure many on TC will want to form teams. This just looks too good to pass up.

sharing is caring, sorry that we’re not allowed to spread the fun invented by [mya] in your eyes. kitten credits, we just adapted it to work in spvp in order to play with guilds outside of our matchup.

It’s a bit sad that people lack reading comprehension on forums…

We adapted it, added OUR own rules, it’s called Asuraball and can be done in SPVP – completely our additions. I made a forum, we hosted the arena, we got in touch with dozens of guilds about it. So I named my site Unlikely? who cares aside from you.

The credit for the initial form of the game is Mya’s noted here and on site. We adapted it, I made the site? What’s your problem??

I like the old name more , mainly cause the new name has “asura” in it , i got a disslike for asuras.

I think it would open up more interesting shots if the asura had walk turned on and always tries to walk to the centre of the arena.
