Q:
About Dev Stream and Point traiding
I haven’t watched the stream myself, so maybe you phrased it wrong. But how can you punish something that is not possible to do?
Imo, none of those listed are point trading, it’s just not point taking.
I have a link to the stream video, and the new buffs gives 1 War Point for every stomp you do, per stack of bloodlust buff. in a GvG there are mainly 20 vs 20 and when in one fight 5 guys get stomped you can get up to 15 points for that, which are equal to holding 5 camps for one tick.
I’m pretty sure GvGs wont be held when the buffs are on, it would give an unfair advantage to one of the guilds.
I like the preview vids of Anet, but one question comes to mind. They all seem very young, makes me wonder if there are any senior staff members left?
nobody said anything about baning. what comes to my mind is some kind of DR for killing the same person in short time.

who would organize a gvg against guild with 3 bloodlust stacks?
5 guys stomping 1 only gives you 1 war point. Also if you’re referring to people farming for stomps:
-if you don’t have CC to interrupt the stomp or stealthing to block stomps…they deserve the credit…and you deserve to lose. Be aware of you opponent’s buff and prepare accordingly.
-in a GvG the guilds in the first place should also be aware of the buff and stop the GvG if the buff is on, or open call it a handicap. Thus the team with the buff SHOULD NOT STOMP in respect for fairness. Most of the time GvGs are not kittens about it, and respect the rule they agree on.
-neutralize the cap areas is easy, it can be done by 1 player vs more enemies. It does not matter because neutralizing is faster then capping. If you’re capable of surviving and trolling long enough hopefully your other teammates is capping the other objective.
-also, you need to hold 3 out of the 5…that’s a lot at one time. if no one is on either of the caps they all decay over time. so it won’t be lasting a long time, because you would be lucky to have 3 minimum with all the people running around.
-holding structures is still going to be more useful in the long run for larger gaps in score.
-this orb buff is mainly meant for smaller teams to do more then just cap camps and ninja towers. Especially for those solo roamer types.
Finally:
If you’re referring to players with a second account in order to purposely let their buddies stomp them to get more points for the real server they’re supporting? Then really that’s pretty kitten ed organized to hold 3 cap points, and have enough people to stomp to tick more then a camps worth. All this, while that said 15 players could have been defending a garrison or SM that is way more then the 5 points they would be doing per 15 min tick.
So yes…I think that is a bannable offense if the players get reported.
