What I still do not understand: Will the Alpine Borderlands return and the Desert Borderlands be out of the game forever?
I was hoping for some rotate system including both maps. Just having the old maps back will not fix the boredom of the WvW.

What I want to know: Will both maps be fixed/updated and rotate (monthly for instance)? Or have the Desert maps been abandoned forever (not a good idea in my opinion)?

The update, this month will include improvements to the Dbl. Alpine bl will be brought back eventually just no eta. And as soon as they can figure out how to make the tech work, there will be a rotation for the bl maps.

We will have both maps. The only issues right now are making improvements to the dbl and the tech behind making rotations work are proving harder then anticipated, because this was the original plan.

Since they’ve made updates to the Desert maps in builds after the return of Alpine, I imagine they’ll be coming back.

I just don’t hope to see DBL anywhere near a PvP zone, forever. The changes they made, hopefully they are to keep the players happy until we get the Alpines back. I suppose, as Mike said, giving us back the Alpine bls might take a while.

Hmm, my scepsis and my confusion stays. But I hope for the best to see both maps (properly updated/balanced) again.
