For those who aren’t aware, the Arborstone [FR] and Vizunah [FR] have come to some sort of agreement meaning they won’t attack eachother and they work together to stop Desolaton [EN] from capturing anything.

Not really pathetic. It’s valid. What I dislike is people saying Desolation doesn’t belong in tier 1, or Desolation aren’t a challenge. We clearly are.

Also the myth of RUIN because massively larger in numbers was disproved last night by us deso players being outmanned in the night by VS.

Anyway, it’s a close matchup. Enjoy it, they aren’t common.

Why dont you look at the appalling in Americans moving to your EU server to lift you to tier one duo to nightcapping. Actually its funny to see Desolation cry and cry now after they have asked all others to stop crying for weeks.

Having a large American guild transferring to your server to night-cap the kitten out of everyone is pretty legit though.

It’s a fair and even intended (it’s not a three way battle without a reason) tactic and works well to counter nightcapping.

After applying dirty tactics ( importing a huge American Guild to European WvW Competition ). Why U ( Desolation ) so surprise now ?? U have enemy’s in all over EU severs … Its like in next EURO 2014 (UEFA) all Europeans teams 11 players on the field will face opponent who have one team 11 EU players with support another 11 players on the field -American footballers ( and “americans” – will play with own rules ). U ( Desolation ) said to Europe – adopt to new situation so stop complaining and adopt to Ur’s situation.

I understood him, and i have by no means any experience in googletrad english. But since what he is saying is totally right and irritates you, it’s easier to dismiss his point by saying you don’t get it And i didn"t even need a translator to decipher what you were trying to do, so sad :/

Seems fair enough to me, I thought the idea was that servers could form alliances if they wish, though I guess the intention was to have the two teams trailing in the scores, gang up on the leader, but whatever.

Really though it is just another aspect of WvW that doesn’t work that wonderfully, three worlds is really the equivalent to having three factions and though it is better than two factions / worlds, it is vastly inferior to the mutliple sides you get with player made alliances you get in games like EVE. (Too many ex-DaOC players that wear rose tinted glasses thinking 3 sides solves the issue)

Lastly for those expressing such joy at Desolation’s prediciment, you do realize that if you are on a server that has a chance to get to T1, you will be in the same boat if you present any real threat, as if one of them gets knocked out of T1, then they won’t be able to pull the trick again and then may be in danger of having two EU or two German servers gang up on them.

It is true we (VS) had an agreement with Arborstone….which last 5 minutes. This agreement has never been applied and the first thing Arborstone did was to back stab us and take blue lake and etheron (Desolation map) right after the reset.

So yeah, nice agreement indeed.

I’ve seen this kinda behavior in other games like Aika, and Prius. Its no surprise it happens here too. Actually I’m kinda surprised it isn’t more common.
Any time you have a competitive pvp game you will see gamers do anything to win.

The whole 2v1 dynamic is something that having 3 ‘factions’ is supposed to create.. maybe not 24/7 but that situation is supposed to happen when the design includes 3 different teams.

Generally it’s the two losing factions teaming on the winning one, that doesn’t mean it’s the only way to go though, maybe in the weeks to come these servers will try to fight off all comers instead of what is going on right now, I guess they felt like they needed the help to get what they wanted done!

I am not a member of the French community.
I do not play on either Arborstone [FR] or Vizunah [FR] servers.
I have no vested interest in the match between these 3 servers.
What they may or may not be doing together or against each-other in WvW has no effect on me or my game play what-so-ever.
The only reason why I am reading this particular post is for my own entertainment purposes.
I have no idea who Belfagor Diabolos is and STILL do not understand single word of his post above.

This cracks me up.
He complains about a server alliance when this was ANets community fix to 24 hour servers, which is the only reason his server is in that tier.
Suck it up lad. Stop PvDoor and you will stop being tag teamed
