If you take a look at the sidebar on the April feature packs blog page showing the dates for when information is going to be released, there is a specific article dated for march 27 that is titled “Account-bound”. A guildie pointed this out to me, and we couldn’t think of anything major that would require an entire article having to do with account-bound items other than Wxp. What do you all think?

Top of the head ideas (including both useless and those that have little possibility of ever existing):

Account bound legendaries.

Account bound dye.

Account bound skins.

Account bound gear. (Ascended)

Account bound useless (items from dungeons/personal stories)

Account bound items purchased from gem store (past, present, future)

And the one that really matters: account bound Wexp

I think ANet believes teasers are clever marketing tools. I also believe they could write an entire article hyping anything.

Let me be the cynic here: “We decided tradable siege is too imbalanced, so we are making it account bound again.”
Anyway, my expectations are on all time low nowadays.

I think it will be acct bound legendaries tbh. There aren’t that many to choose from and it will make it much more alt friendly and reward those that have invested the time it takes to craft them (or unfortunately) buy them. I don’t think there will be acct bound wxp until the end of season 2, around June.

I think, this will come with april feature pack. There’s a blog post planned for mar 27 titled “Account bound”, it can be confirmed or vice versa with that post.

I do not think this will happen -adding numbers is hard.

Haha, I was right after all! I’m glad I was optimistic and not pessimistic like a few of you in this thread. I think it’s kind of funny how golden wing listed a bunch of things they are eventually making account bound
