You could try Hel (Helioz) who I’m told are a very friendly bunch, friend of mine plays with them and was new to WvWvW when he joined and was made very welcome.

Majority of BG’s guilds prefer running tagless, with the exception of some bigger guilds like KnT, GoF and iCoa. When guilds are asked to tag up, the reaction is always like: “sigh do we have to? fine….”

Its only about NA servers xd But would be interesting to do an EU list also.

Add [DPS] to Fort Aspenwood list. Should also add [GODS]

[YAKS], [RTH], [FOOD], and [One] are also Darkhaven and WvW orientated. [BRL] and [DHE] both rally up in WvW but are PvX guilds. And [JPGN] is a new offshoot of [ANBU], not sure of the details but I think they’re a roaming guild.

Before you spread misinformation you should probably learn the facts, I had a few good chuckles at your salt.

Sea of Sorrows does not buy guilds. We want people who want to be apart of a community that focuses on fun, not people role playing as mercenaries (Lol @ JQ/BG).

They paid for their own transfers, and came of their own free will, to the server with the best wvw community in GW2. On top of being the best GW2 community, our server had time slots where we have no guilds running, and mostly empty maps. These guilds came here because they wouldn’t be battling queues, and they’d have full recruiting power in the time zone they play. As well as having guilds that play and hold down the fort in different time zones.

You’re upset with 24 hour coverage wars, so direct your anger at that issue instead.

I don’t know if the buying is true but what’s relevant is the fact that lots and lots of guilds server hopped.
there’s a lack of strong mentality in a lot of players, they cant stand losing and they dont want to work hard for it. Lower tier servers circling down the drain.

There are quite a few guilds on this list that seem to have dropped WvW entirely in preference for EoTM. Considering its very disconnected from WvW and really contributes nothing to the the WvW game mode itself outside of a possible supply drop every four hours, I’m not sure I would characterize some of these guilds as “WvW guilds”.

DIE always intended to leave Ehmry Bay after a few weeks. Hell, we actually stayed longer than we had initially intended. But as someone who was in DIE while we were in Ehmry Bay, I think most of us enjoyed the community and had fun while we were there. There just came a time to finally move on, but we never hid that fact from the get-go.

GoM: ASH, ART, RH, WHO, Worm, CODE, RISE

There’s a few other large guilds with many WvW players, but I personally don’t consider them to be WvW guilds.

So… As a leader of DIE I’m struggling to see how you think that’s true. We were on ebay for like 4 weeks for a vacation after SoR and T1. We looked for a server during that time then moved to SoS in November. The other guilds from ebay that came over were in January. SoS does not help with transfers. I can speak for DIE when I say we brought all of our people here ourselves. 99.9% that’s true for the other guilds as well.

So before you start spewing information, make sure it’s kittening true.

lot of the guilds from ehmry are elsewhere now but what remains is

[oG], [SM],[Fall],[CoT], [EBAY], [VII]another i wont mentioned because i hear they are leaving.

Lost on BP is now on TC.
Also if you want to take this thread to the next level, and thus hopefully get it stickied, you could list out the full name of the guild and have a link to their website.

CD is missing some smaller guild like Pa, HaX, Clav, Gdam, DNA….im not sure about TDS, i haven’t really seen them in a while..probably cuz their main commander, Daeronz, isn’t active anymore…some guilds that i listed are probably some pve guilds but ive seen them around in WvW

SoR is going T4 soon… TW is on SoS and GC /HIRE /HEL /Choo /DN/LUN went to TC?… heard only AGNY /Ph remained.. these transferred SoR guilds run easily 20-40.. it be great if someone can confirm where they went.

Add [oT] and [DOOM] to the BP list and move [Lost] to TC
