You do know what the new test server is for don’t you?

Its to test server loading for Anet’s expansion into China where they have much larger guilds.

Till it goes live the NA servers are ground zero.

There are guilds in this game that can queue entire maps in this game, So yeah moving it to 30 players would cause a huge amount of players to leave. What krall said is true. On reset my guild had 40 in wvw. 10 more then what the OP wants the limit to be.

Making maps take time, and for some servers adding more maps might create major issues due to them already having too few people to fill the already existing maps.

Maps take a long time to create, code and bug fix. Let alone adding in npc code etc. Unless you want just simple copy paste maps so each server has 2 bls, or maybe 2 Ebs. That doesnt work. Many low pop servers can only have presence on eb and their borderlands. The solution is to destack, stacked servers. Or wait til 2014 sometime for the overflow map./

The test server isn’t going to help. It has no impact on the WvW game. Its a test server for their launch into China, which has much larger guilds.

Anet needed to get as many people into WvW now to start the stress testing so they came up with the idea of adding easy achievements into WvW to get as many pve players into WvW as possible.

WvW already had achievements (many the same as the new easy ones). There was no mass influx of pve players going for them.

The mega-queue times were not created by WvW players moving to BG/JQ/SoR. Those guilds moved weeks ago and there was no mad influx the night before.

The queues/skill lag were present before the leagues and adding the achievement hunters just made the problem worse 10 fold. But this is “working as intended” as Anet needs to stress test the servers now b4 launching into China.

Yes right. That will effect the points if they have less map than the other. Then give all the server same amount of maps. Heck some maps will be empty, but its better than 90 mans zerg steamrolled 20 mans army right? Plus less lagging

No, it is fully possible to have WvW-community events as well.

No, it is fully possible to have WvW-community events as well.

Not punish. But over than 50 players in 1 team will cause unplayable lag. If they has 500 members, each 50 50 50 50 50..etc will go to each map and they still can play with each other

Yes. But I think the number not far from 50.

90 man zerg already making an unplayable lag for me at least.
