Advantage top off wall not other way
Indeed would be nice to have same range as those archers on the wall, they are like 3 feet away from the edge and still hitting people under wall. Try that as player and all you see is obstructed obstructed. Unless you jump on the very edge to do some damage although that may result in dying on an aoe fest or simply being pulled off.

They cant “fix” this problem. Half of the issue lies in the obstructed mechanic – which you really got no way around unless you make it possible to shoot through the upper part of a wall. But that would go both ways. The other half is the design of the walls themselves. Making more defensible walls would require them to be wider/deeper, taller (preferably with towers) and layered. Which means remodelling the keeps from scratch.
Yes that why i sad only solution that they dont have to change all is to limit so only Melee attacks with sword, axe, hammer and other siege can destroy siege, that way you get a advantage with a AC on wall against enemy under the wall, you get damage but the siege dont.
Anyone else find it odd that the keep/tower archers have no problem hitting from the top of a wall but players (particularly rangers) are screwed?
