I think it will be interesting to see what happens to server populations after the first season. I am hopeful that ridiculous queue times in gold league will cause population to spread out, the question is to what extent? I hope players will take the opportunity to improve the population spread between servers, but I’d imagine that they will tend to bandwagon towards servers that won their respective leagues.

Gold league queues will drop on their own, likely somewhere back to around pre-season levels, which was short or none except for reset nights. So to be honest, I don’t see much spreading out happening. However, I think there will be some guild and player movement. Where and why I have no idea, but I think once the dust settles on the season, players will see where things stand and make some decisions based on what they’re after and their continued enjoyment of the game mode.

Queue (Pool) times during NA are sitting at about 5 min for BL’s, and about 10-20 for EB.

Granted I think all the fair weathers have left for this week, so maybe it is a poor indications. But if it continues I wouldn’t complain.

If they return to their old RNG for a few weeks, im more interested to see how the top Silver faces against the bottom gold. Where does SBI and FA place against Mag or SoS.

Wouldnt bother me. Let them clog up BG’s queues.

I think people will slow down/stop playing when leagues end, maybe come back for second season. It’s leading into the holidays, and I think a lot won’t be thrilled with the RNG matches happening again.

Won’t be surprised to see a significant population drop.

Depends on the league rewards really. Its pointless logging in to face blowouts every week if theres no reward for it. Ninjaing camps is only fun when you fight other ninja teams not pop swords get insta-zerged since the zergs bored and you’re a fresh target.

Queues only got bad when the leagues started, they’ll go back to normal/manageable levels once the league is over. If you were hoping for guilds to spread out, the best opportunity for that to happen was during the leagues when the queues were unbearable, and we saw that with several guilds leaving the T1 servers. I don’t expect anymore guilds to be leaving T1, unless a server implodes.

They might even be as strong as TC now. TC/SBI/FA is probably the new T2.
