In GW1 we had alliances which were groups of guilds that helped each other out and so forth .

With all the drama with lower Tier’s populations and Q times on the uper tiers, why not introduce an Alliance style format where servers can represent with Allies in a different server. this would effectivly balance a servers q times and bolster a low tiers population and really open up wvw to a whole new level.

Thoughts please share

nope I was thinking more along the lines that t1 servers have only the bottom 3 tiers to have an alliance with or It could be randomly generated by anet so that it stays balanced.

lets say T1 spread out over the bottom 3 teirs
T1 winner is allied with 3rd place T9
T1 2nd place allied with 3rd place T8
T1 3rd place allied with 3rd place T7

and so on giving the bottom tiers more players to help out and spreading out the top tiers player base so that queues may be eliminated and giving alot more variety to players as to opponates.
If there is a queue then your given the option of going to the other server to play and help out, or you can just select either servers map to load into.

A small guild in say T1 could then in fact goto the lower server and have an impact were they may feel that in T1 they just get rollonflorstomped, and as well if the lower tier server has an impact guild in a certain time zone , that could fill a slack period, could jump up and help the T1 server

lol what? Have you actually played on a low tier server? i’m in GoM and on an average day the Q time for EB is about a minute which isn’t so bad but i don’t even want to imagine what it would be like with t1 guilds coming down here.
