Q:

Hello,

Seeing Devon responding to couple of Q&A’s I was wondering if we could get this one answered.

Boons marked as “boons for nearby allies” should be made check for party first (600-900 units AOE), so we can actualy start making group compositions that make sense. For example:

- a guardian for stability/protection
- a warrior for might/fury/swiftness
- an elementalist for regen
- etc

Leave the area effects as area effects (swiftness, healing), but please please PLEASE make other boons party-wide first, then allies. There is nothing worse running into a battle with a group and applying boons to some random allied player in the vicinity, while my party members die in CC or loose speed or don’t gain protection – you get the point.

Thank you.

P.S. While we are here – implement raid groups with some distiguished mark (crossed swords or something) for the leader. Make boons check for party, check for raid, then check for allies. Raid frames (tiny ones) are great information for the raid leader in order to monitor who died, how strong the groups is and so on.

I can only second this. This would be great for organised guilds running in WvW and make sense towards new guild missions etc aswell. Give guilds atleast some tools to plan with.

This!

Group play. That is what any kind of PvP should be focused on. This change could make a difference for those who seek to play organized WvW.

A priority on those party members on range would be awsome without being OP.
