Allow us to sell siege weapon plans
You do jump puzzles, which does not help your server, and get siege weapon plans and free badges. Then you want to sell siege weapon plans to other servers. Do I see where you are going with this?

why don’t you find a commander or ask in map chat if there is someone who wants the donations.
or just be completely lazy and drop them off at the portal to EB.
you know.. help your server out rather than deleting them?

It’s very easy to hand off siege to friendly players, just equip the weapon then press the swap weapon button and the package will be placed on the ground. In particular if someone helps you with a portal to the chest I recommend you go back and give the blueprints that you get to them!

Selling siege is a mutually beneficial arrangement. Nothing wrong with it. It helps the server and it’s players. Technical limitations are the only reason it’s not on the TP atm.

well the way i see it is if a player only goes into EB to do the jumping puzzle then why shouldn’t he just give the siege to a commander or maybe a friend that does WvW? if those guys were not out there fighting and makeing sure you have your keep, then you would not have a EB JP to go to.

No direct benefit, but the siege built there will aid your server in getting more points and thus rack up larger bonuses for your server as a whole for PvE.

I feel it’s a waste for me to keep destroying the siege weapon plans I get from the jumping puzzle. They just use up space in my inventory and I merely want the badges of honor to work up to my legendary.
I understand there are people who’d like to have siege weapon plans for WvW stuff. Can Anet allow us to sell the plans on the TP just so I don’t have to waste them by tearing them up?
You must understand than people that care about WvW score are usually spending a lot of money to buy siege weapons / upgrades to help their server. They see people doing jumping puzzle like bad players because they use slots in WvW and do not help attacking / defending the objectives. So if you try to sell these blueprints instead of using them for free for your team, you won’t be likely to make a lot of friends!
But if you don’t care about that, I think you could sell them by saying in the “/map” channel that you sell them for cheap. If you don’t sell cheap, no one will buy them.

I also can see selling on the TP be a reasonable source of aquireing siege, since they have a npc buy price the price for siege on the TP would be lower than that (else they wont sell, obviously). that way greedys get some money for their jp madness whilest wvwers get siege “abit” cheaper than usual.
