EotM is a good map in a lot of ways but what keeps it from “active pvp” that ppl want is the overflowing of maps that lets groups comply avoid more predatory groups. So unless they let you overflow the new BLs its not EotM 2.
As for the new BL being dead its still a bit too soon to say pve is a major driving fores in mmorpgs and that GW2 just added a major pve update to the game in HoT (soon more with raids) a lot of ppl who play GW2 who where bored with pre HoT pve that where playing wvw to fill time are back to pve and will be for some time. If any thing the guild hall arenas will be a bigger blow to WvW then any new / old bl maps. Giving spaces for groups to gvg out side of wvw will take the “pvp” groups out of wvw for more gvg aimed fights.
Its up to players to pvp more so then the makers becuse its player vs player not player vs player becuse of the environment they play in.
