This is my first topic creation, so be gentle on me.

Currently there is a real problem with the match-matching algorithm being used. Servers are matched up based on historical and current scores. It does not take into account:
1. Population distribution across the 24 hours/day, resulting in night capping issues, outmanned buff.
2. Population explosion/implosion (guilds leaving or joining server) – its taking too long for the affected servers to move to the correct tier.

What i am proposing and i hope anet will take into consideration is a population-distribution matchup.

Lets take Kaineng as an example, and to simplified thing, lets divide a day into 3 × 8 hours time-range. What anet has to do is to calculate the man-hours in each of the time-range at the end of 1-week long campaign, then match Kaineng with 2 other servers with similar man-hours distribution.

The advantages of this are:
1. No night-capping issues, and no more boring pvdoor (ok, some ppl may like this).
2. Server with drastic population changed will be moved to the correct tier much faster.

The disadvantages of this (that i can think of) are:
1. If there is no transfer, then the 3 servers will be fighting each other for many many weeks.
2. Players doing JP might mess-up the population-distribution of the server.
