I play on Blackgate and for about as long as I can remember now, we lose EOTM 98% of the time (I say 98% even though I’ve not seen us win in months and counting). As in the other two worlds have 4 times our numbers (at least) and almost always double our points. Every. Single. Round.

This is not fun…. Is Anet considering ANY means by which they can fix the huge gap in populations? Because right now it’s so horrible, there’s hardly a reason to even participate. And I’m not planning on transferring servers. I like where I’m at.

Yeah, I’m kittening. But I mean….come on….this is an issue that should be addressed.

eotm has nothing to do with your server aside from color placement, you play with people from other servers if they have the same color that week. Being on BG is irrelvant to your eotm outcome.

also winning in eotm is of no consequence, aside from a small supply drop in your home servers citadel, other then that there is no point to winning. Eotm has one map, and overflows therefore players are placed in newly created overflows when the previous instance is filled up.

Actually it doesn’t seem to matter what color we are. We still lose.

Wait… there are actually people who care whether they “win” or “lose” in EoTM? Wow.

Just hop into real WvW (Eternal Battlegrounds or the Borderlands) and fight for your server. You’ll find lots of people who care there and a relatively balanced matchup, being T1. EoTM isn’t considered important or relevant by WvWers because, well, it isn’t. It’s just a champion farm/ktrain where people go to level their alts.

I resent the fact that EoTM access is provided on the WvW panel. I wonder how many new players decide to try out WvW and stumble into EoTM as their first experience of the game mode and form their opinions on WvW based on their experience there.

I don’t remember ever looking at the score in EotM. Some people actually do that?
