I’ve sat here trying to think of a way to phrase a response, and every one is a guaranteed infraction and post deletion. So I’ll just say this … I strongly disagree with most of your assessments and obvious self serving proposal. Some of you on SoR may wonder why your server, who arguably has the strongest EST time zone coverage of all NA servers, and has extremely strong NA participation overall, has had no Oceanic additions (in fact you’ve lost some in recent weeks to your own competition), the above attitude could be part of the problem.

To be fair, it’s one guy, not the entire server. All servers have players with certain ahem, “opinions”. Thankfully most don’t create entire threads displaying their “opinion” to the community.

Look I understand that sor has a good na est time zone team. But for the last 2 nights in a row knt was called to defend bg bl from your na prime time assault and both nights you were able to only take 1 tower and 1 keep. Which we ended up taking back within an hour or 2. And I mean you guys sent a ton of people to our bl. But we know how to fight you now and where your going to push. So give the day guys and na prime time guys on blackhare some credit. They have done very well the last 2-3 days.

To be honest i dont see the neccesity of seperate this from the main WvW discussion thread. Plus i dont want to comment anything extreme here as it’s just a infraction added.

We all knew the NA coverage is our weak spot at the moment, hence our recruitment thread already stated clear what we really need. Dont think we need 3rd parties to emphasis on that.

I have to agree you’re very verbose and frankly wrong. You are doing your server a disservice by looking like an idiot and would be alot more helpful on the battlefield rather than I love Blackgate how it is at the moment and would decline that “merger” if it was ever offered. Super servers with no weaknesses are no fun because there’s no challenge i.e former TA of Henge of Denravi, they tend to fall apartIt’s been a long 7 weeks? I hope this experience has taught is new things and if we move up to tier 1, i hope we meet again on battlefield.

BG has been stepping their NA game up I will be honest.

What exactly are you calling NA primetime? I’m not seeing the weakness on BG’s part in “prime time” other than that we don’t have queues in any battleground including EB.

Not if TC’s prime time is NA as well (don’t know if it is). But it would = SoR and TC both going at it hard in their prime time (NA) and obviously SoR won’t be getting as much of a dominant ppt tick because there is still somewhat more competition for it during that time, unlike BG who supposedly has superior oceanic coverage and SoR supposedly having nearly a non existent night crew which means BG gets to dominate during their oceanic prime time whilst SoR and TC still have to fight it out during their NA prime times ;D

BG won even when IoJ was here and they didn’t have a strong NA primetime and IoJ was able to match or beat our Oceanic coverage with their huge Aussie guilds.

Honestly let BG’s stay on BG you know they aren’t going to move and you knwo SoR players arent moving. It’s life.

I have an odd schedule and have been know to play at all hours and weekdays/weekends. BG is at its relative weakest from 6pm -10pm EST. Notice the word relative in there. Luckily though, thanks to our recruitment posts and general word of mouth our numbers in that time frame have been growing. We have gained no new large guilds in that time frame but there are a lot of new names and bigger presences on the maps during those times. (arguably, RUIN, but they don’t start showing numbers until about 10pm EST.) And our new friends come just in time.

now now, this is just one dude, like Selwynn mentioned. and he even left his name up there, so no need to call our an entire server (that’s never goign to get old saying, is it?) that being said, i won’t be able to speak on behalf of SoR (that would make me a hypocrite, yes?), but i am definitely staying on SoR. all my real life friends, who i found out played gw2 as well, had joined SoS. been on SoR since head start and even though they told me to join them, to be on the winning team for WvW, i stayed put. this server just felt right and the longer i’ve been on here, the more i know that’s true. sure we play to win, but we won’t forsake our name to win.

and pretty darn sure most of BG will feel the same way.

10/10 would laugh again
