Recently there have been numerous posts with ideas and suggestions, to improve incentive for players to WvW all day every day.
The first subject I’d want to comment on would be the color coding for the players representing each server in WvW. I wonder if it would be possible for ArenaNet to implement a toggle of whether we want to view everyone as 3 distinctive colors, or to the color schemes we have specifically chosen for our character(s).
In WvW as of now, I feel there is a lack of notoriety in the game, people aren’t easily recognized or able to stand out as an individual. In DAoC people in RvR were recognized over time for A) their armor appearances or B) color scheme. What’s the point of collecting dyes when all the other servers only see you as either red, green or blue. The red name tags are enough to differentiate friend from foe imo.
The second topic I wanted to touch on would be the incentive for playing WvW in general. People have suggested the addition of Realm Abilities or whatnot, and there have been for and against RA’s in general.
Now, what I propose would be, like how pve has an xp bar, HoTM has a glory bar, give WvW a PvP bar in which you can obtain different WvW titles through level’ing. Which also unlocks extra passive bonuses that we can choose to use in WvW. On top of that, the WvW levels obtained during the week will be [reset] as well, at the end of a WvW match. Meaning at the beginning of each week, it’s a brand new game.

An even larger WvW map would be nice too.
