Tonight they are relinking for the third time.

The first time they gave every server exactly one partner in their first attempt at the system.

The second time they responded to complaints about how T1 servers being too blobby and not needing a linked server by… not linking them with another server and instead making a 4-server and 3-server linking.

The 4-server linking was not popular among T4 servers and when it was artificially boosted to T3 they were not blown away, but they were in a solid third place each match.

So it’s unclear what direction they will go this time. 2 of the T1 servers did fine without a partner, but Yak’s Bend fell to floating between T3 and T4. They will likely get a partner.

What is clear is that gem prices are almost 50% higher from the anniversary sale and relinking will make that go higher. If you need gold, now’s the time to load up on gems to sell.

nah, T1 servers should not get links (Blackgate, JQ, DB and maybe even TC) they’re already way too stacked and other tiers and servers need the pop. Opening up T1 for a 500 gem transfer is silly.

Obviously they need to price transfers to linked servers based on their host. But, I don’t think JQ/DB are overly stacked right now, at least not compared to BG alone. TC needs some loving as well from what I’ve seen. Mag’s just coverage away from T1, they’re a force to be respected when they show up. BG of course needs nothing, if they get a linking I might die from the force of that facepalm, or at least get a concussion.

B..B..But BG went off Full awhile ago. They obviously are hurting for people.

Lol, watch, the week that BG went off full is the week that Anet took the population measurements for the linkings. BG gets a link, priced at medium. JQ, DB, TC get no linkings.

I think OP is BG with guildies not on BG thus the request….

Blackgate is the only NA server that should not get a link. If all T1 servers are denied links then it will end up being a runaway for BG for 2 straight months.

db has around the clock pvd/coverage noway should they have a link and should be full. JQ is ocx/sea heavy. maybe a case could be made for their NA being meh. TC is tanking and it’s obvious.
