Any C&S changes coming with EOTM update?
Well the lack of response suggests nothing for the C&S this patch.

You’ve been a great advocate for an improved commander system for some time now, which I admire.
Concurrently Sacrx’ NDA leak has highlighted why they have dragged their feet on improving such things in WvW for sooooooo looooong. Heaven forbid they make it easier for people to enjoy smaller group activity and not always zerg.
Anyways, I may be proved wrong yet, but you shouldn’t your breath.
Just read some of the Sacrx stuff. Seems to be a lack of resources for WvW. They have made some good changes with the EOTM update, fixing the que system with a place counter. As well as finally fixing the right-click menu for functions in WvW.
It still doesn’t help that games that came out 6 years ago had vastly superior grouping systems for WvW style combat and organization. Most of the things we requested are in the collaborative thread, so they are aware of them. Of course that doesn’t mean they are going to do everything we requested or do it any time soon.
I guess my biggest issue is how they C&S system is NOT a priority when discussing WvW.
EotM’s dynamic overflow maps ask for an important change in commanders:
When the commander of a squad goes to a new map (e.g. joins EotM), every member of that squad is asked if it wants to join that map too, or if it want to leave the squad.
Should give a reliable way to bring guild-zergs of up to 40 people to the same overflow map.
That would be a decent change. But still doesn’t help guilds or players running with more than 5 players in multiple groups but don’t want a massive zerg flocking to the pin. We still need a way to form private or guild only squads that have pins hidden from public view.
Annnnnnnd…. no C&S changes except making the pin visible to a commander who already knows he has a pin up.

Isn’t that funny, that entire Collaborative thread no one asked for the pin to be self visible and it’s the only change they made. Doesn’t bode well for the rest of the stuff players asked for….
