It would really have been great if the new WvW map with overflow was introduced with the seasons. What we have now is waiting and waiting and waiting in the queues. Thats a massive waste of time.
Are there any EU Servers or german servers where you can at least get onto a borderland on friday reset with max. 10-20 min queue? I am really getting tired of 3+ hours of queue even if you pressed “join” the first second after the servers went online.
Btw. I played on Riverside for over a year now but the queues are getting longer and longer especially with the new season.
And please AreaNet bring this new overflow map as soon as possible. People are tired of waiting to play WvW. My hope is that you can release it before 2014.

So please give me some impressions of servers without long queues.

I don’t really understand what happened to EU servers, but most NA servers have a short queue, no queue, or in the case the my server, outnumbered even…

You got Dzagonur and Drakkar Lake to choose from or any of the other servers as well.

There’s very little attrition in the EU leagues. It also has a very compressed time of play. NA tends to be more spread out around the clock., including multiple time zones within NA itself.

Many of the top GvG guild went to silver league to avoid the queues, but that movement attracted a lot of players in addition, that’s why there’s queues in silver league as well.

Well,alot of queue in EU servers ,but not the bronze ones,for example Fissure of Woe have no que 24h,even at the reset the que is MAX 1mint in eb.

Ruins of surmia had queue on every map yesterday, like 20-30mins on bl´s dunno about ebg probly 1hour.

and after reset ebg queue starts at around 4pm (maybe 20min) and bl´s doesnt have queue most of times

Underworld. A lot of important guilds left before season started – and it is “very high”(not many players joining here cause of high gem cost).

Almost permanently outnumbered buff from Sunday/Monday until reset. Only queue is at reset at EB and home borderlands(but not very long <5 minutes – and only for the first 1-2 hours then usually already no queue again cause players logged already out).

Any WvW players are of course most welcome in Whiteside Ridge (medium population). We are getting stomped by Ring of Fire, but matchups now are unbalanced for most servers it seems. We actually somehow had outnumbered yesterday a bit later in the evening on every map besides our own borderlands, so you won’t even have to worry about repair costs! :P
