PvE content have new designs.. and..environments.. all time.

PvP just got a new lobby design. ( which is great )

But EBG, I think my eyes will bleed from looking at..Eternal Battlegrounds with the same design for 5 years.

I don’t know much about programming and development, but if you look closely, Heart of Thorns Maps..and..Living World Season 3 Maps looks better textured, it feels like Guild Wars 2.. has .. another graphics engine.

I want to feel like I’m really on a battlefield. Not on an empty Golf Course with a couple towers and nothing else.

Stop focusing so much on what to do with the servers, give us more updates for wvw, you will not attract the attention of any player retired in this way.

I think for wvw things need to be toned down a lot because of performance issues – imagine now if they decided to make it look as best they can but now more than 90% of players are watching a slide show. I think it would be bad. I think in wvw case it’s more about optimizing maps for performance.

Now DBL doesn’t have a bad performance at all. And it is true that the FX/Lights & Textures on EBG are fugly when u compare them. I would also love to see a revamp of it.

Sure, I’d love some new wvw maps, but it is fairly far down on my list of priorities.

Simply put, I think that dealing with the population/coverage balance, gameplay balance, and simply making the gameplay fun to play even if outnumbered are more important.

If you do like eye candy, I’d recommend Desert BL, it is pretty much everything you ask for, except that it is not EBG.

EBG is honestly the last map they should mess with, since it is the favorite map and works pretty well as it does. That whole line with “if it isn’t broken don’t fix it” etc, because lets face it, ANet does have a bad track record with “updating” thing in WvW, and if they did something that turns players off EBG…

DBL performance is stable, so I do not see any problem in doing a redesign in EBG.
