WvW players can’t get dragonite ore? What?
You know WvW is the fastest way to get dragonite ore right?

Unless you’re in a good zerg, I find World Events to be a hell of a lot faster for Dragonite Ore.
FA – On Wednesdays We Wear [PINK]
Xysynra (Ele), Syranyx (Necro)
Next patch for is all Living story
2 world boses, 1 is temporary
More Scarlet
Nothing for Spvp til Feb
Nothing for WvW until April( no confirmation, EOTM may take longer to be released)
Many resources spent, many areas ignored.
either something is wrong with the corporate philosophy of the individuals in the company have their own focus and power. I doubt WvW devs have as much say or priority as devs in LS
what do we do until something lie EOTM releases some time in the summer? theres almost nothing coming to wvw, I dont even now when wxp is account bound and thats simple quality of life
Living Story is only dynamic when you release new content, because the content itself is static. In order for it to be fresh, they need new content.
PvP is dynamic because the players involved create new situations that you have to deal with. Different approaches, uneven fights, chasing, sieging, counter-sieging, defending, roaming, ninjaing locations, all of these create new experiences in the same world.
I don’t really know what WvW needs, because every time I venture into a BL or EBG, I don’t know what to expect. Are they pushing in on us? Are we pushing in on them? Where are the fights? What will I find when I roam? I find a competitive thrill simply in running around looking for fights and finding those really good, engaging experiences.
It doesn’t matter to me that the grass is the same color in certain areas, or the trees are in the same spot, or the ground has the same contours. I’m in it for the people, and the people are ever-changing if you care to stop and make a change yourself. If you zerg around PvDing every night, WvW probably feels stale.
I enjoyed de_dust for 4 years in Counter-Strike. I still enjoy each BL and EBG in Guild Wars 2. So what’s the rush?

Hit the nail on the head.
PvP game modes rarely need to be updated. Warcraft 3 Dota still uses the same map today as they did 10 years ago, with the same mechanics. I STILL play Dust/Dust 2 on CS:S. It’s all about the changing meta game and open field strategy and tactics. If updates are required, they are usually around balancing, UI and QOL issues. We are getting that in spades in the upcoming updates with account bound WXP, EOTM and class balancing.
