Hello.
As you can see , month after month the WvW keep getting new skills.
I have around 150 point atm,and i spent them all in ballista + siege might ability since day 1.
But,with the new skills incoming (and others already there that i’ve not tested) , i’d like to give them a try , and then decide what does fit better my game.

Is there a way to reset the point i have already spent , and try some different ability?

They should be giving resets when adding new skills. Based on their current behavior, will probably sell wvw reset stone in gem store instead.

Ok thank you for the answer , i also asked it in game they told me is not possible to do it.
Was just to know if there was already a way to reset the WvW skill/ability.

It was resetted once when they revamped the AC mastery, but after that you were kittened if you had put your WxP points already in something..
Oh well, once you achieve rank 1150 or so you’ll have all masteries, no worries.. ;-)

They should definetely add this feature like trait ones. Maybe a special npc or a regular one.

This really needs to be available. Have it cost 250 badges so that people don’t just do it willy-nilly if that’s their concern.

Sounds nice,finally i would have something usefull to invest my 53k badge in …. .

May I remind everyone about the Ascended Rings for Badges?
All we have to do is QQ about this for months on end (If you check the forums, we still need to fuel up the QQ-Mobile abit more) and then we’ll finally get it… sort of… in a way that is still kinda bad but not as bad as it used to be…

My optimistic prediction? In 4 months we get resets in exchange for some new currency which you can only get from fractals or guild missions….

Also, we might as well stop QQing about Account bound WEXP and just shelf our alts.
The introduction of Ascended Gear seems to have marked the point when ANet startet hating alts…

Fine, the gems it is. As long as it costs 200-400 gems, I’ll shut up. It would at least be progress. It does make your head hurt when they do things so contrary to their own described principles.

You didn’t see monetization in full swing if you think Anet is at bottom of that. What are you even talking about? Agressive monetization would leave you with balance-changing items/skills/etc available only via gem store. ANet is nowhere near that. What we have here is mild monetization with only bells and whistles available exclusively in gem store. Well, comfort items at best.

So sad i can’t reset my powers……guards leech,the new upcoming courier speed…….

Really,i hope they will allow us to reset our powers and reskill them.
At this point is better don’t spend points at all,cause the next update there will always be something , more usefull to skill for.

Yes, I spent months on ACs defending and now I want to do something else. Oh, too bad. You’ll have to earn 6 months of points before getting guard leech.

Since starting a new character, I’ve been saving mine. (Admit I broke and put some into AC range).

“if they add a reset option” it cant be threw the gem store people just exploit resetting themself to max there use in WvW. people become a pay to win game. i am fine with 250 honor coin idea : )

It takes dozens of hours to get a single mastery which means most players will only be able to experience a couple or so masteries in their GW2 play experience. IMO this play requirement is fine but to limit it to a single character and no ability to change is a poor decision on ANets part.

I can see ANet’s viewpoint but they should either lower the time it takes to get a WvW mastery or allow us to reset/share them with alts.

another way to look at it they could add a monthly reset on it so you can only change it once a month to fine toon your build then just go on CD for a month.

Anything and any way, as long as we can get one …

Just keep bug reporting the lack of a reset feature and eventually it will come.

I’m trying I just have yet to see a red name post in regard to the issue.

Sorry for necroposting but threads like this are just getting discarded and disregarded seriously anet we need this feature!

Usually the points will be resetted before a tourney or when new trait lines will get in. I cant guarantee this will happen in the future but it has been like this in the past.

1315 + whatever the new golem mastery is.

They have said that all ability points will be reset before the tourney.
