Guild Wars 2

Would be nice to see a few maps to get into rotation with WvW.

Gotta keep everyone guessing what to do and stuff.

Kind of early for that, but hey, anything is possible in the future.

nah…3 identical maps and 1 middle map thats different = win….

still have no idea why they copy and pasted the borderlands maps… could have been creative in creating things a bit more varied

Time, resources, balance, higher priorities… there are many reasons why they may not wish to create different maps for each borderland.

They copied them because it makes it way more balanced. I don’t know if you’re familiar with WoW, but you should have heard the endless balance complaints that stemmed from minor deviations in AV. Don’t get me wrong, some of those complaints were valid (thinking of old classic AV). No one can complain that borderlands is unbalanced because we all get the same thing with different spawn points.

I highly doubt we’ll see a new one anytime soon. Maybe next x-pac, whenever that happens.

cant make different maps, because that carrys with it the Balancing issues

different maps mean different ways of attacking, different tactics, different everything bringing problems when trying to make everything in balance for all 3 servers

im actually surprised that the 3 start points of the Eternal BGs are different

for example, in Eternal BGs, blue keeps get an advantage of having the Grub spam next to their keep, making it easier to camp with siege weapons
that’s additional gold/karma/medals
and it has far higher rewards than any other random events the other keeps have close by
