I never looked up what u could get from the chest untill the other day when I got an ascended cavaliers ring from my rank 52 chest. So when I wiki’Ed it it says u can also get a precursor, so I was just wondering who has gotten a precursor from the rank up chest

nope, but got an ascended ring from it. pretty happy with it. haven’t heard of anyone gotten one yet either.

And I like how the ring is soulbound on use so I can give it to my alt

I’ve gotten two exo drops from ~160 chests. Those have been the highlights. The silver adds up though.

Nope, but a guildie got the hammer precursor from a rank box, not sure which rank. But i’m rank 150 and ive gotten 1 exotic and a few rares. Pve always was and will always be a better way to get rares/exotics.

Over 200 chests. No precursor. No exotic. No Ascended. Around 14 rares. Rest greens. Also got my first superior siege today (arrowcart). Also had 1x stealth disruptor and 1x supply trap.

Even sPvP rewards dump all over WvW rewards in the long run. WvW is the least beneficial place to play. If your a casual play PvE. If your a competitive PvP than sPvP. No place for WvW.

I dont know if I would say least beneficial to play. If I go into WvW for an hour or two I can make nearly a gold and ~40 badges, and Im sure there are classes out there that can do a lot better depending on class/skill/playstyle. Thats not even if there is a nice karma train going. I find that a lot better than say cursed shore farming.
Or you could just get lucky and get a cursed loadstone and exotic leggings within 10 minutes like I did yesterday and make 3g right away.
But no precursor, my rank up chests have been garbage.
