Talking about desolation, I didn’t appreciate the fact that Desolation recruited americans to “destroy” the french serv.

Talking about VS-AS, this illusionnal alliance never existed.

Honestly, I regret Farshiverpeaks or Riveside, why ? Cause they were good, and played for the game, for the wining. No rage, no alliances.

And finally about cheated stuffs and all. EVERY serv has cheaters. Stop raging or QQing when the ennemies are cheating. VS has cheaters, Desolation and AS too.

I’m very disapointed by the 2 last weeks matchs. We lost the essence of the WvW. I hope (Too much dream, kills the dream) this will change, and every serv will focus on the fight.

Actually, the last 2 days desolation has been doing very well point wise per day and night. We were doing bad on weekend but now on weekdays we are doing well during the day. We were at 350 points and maintained an average of about 270 through the day.
GoD guild were doing good job XD

The really strong issue here is simple.

To compete with desolation and maybe some other server in the future we have to recruit NA guilds.
Personnaly i’m okay with that i don’t have a problem with english.

But let’s be honnest for a moment. You’re a large US guild and thinking about joining EU bracket. Wich server will you decide on ?

Yes you will go to en english / International server.
So FR/DE/SP servers will have a great disadvantage. Of course there are French Canadians but their numbers is ridiculously (not sure about this one ;p ) small when you look at the US potential.

So at the end if the dynamic stay that way we will have UK/International servers with 24/7 coverage through EU + US guilds and FR/DE/SP with only a partial coverage of their own country + few expatriates.

You can’t deny that recruiting US guild on a French Server will be far more complicated.

I am thoroughly enjoying it. both french servers have taught me a number of lessons, I have had a few chats with opposition players who have been wicked.

The balance issue must be frustrating for both VS and AS, but comeon VS you had no opposition at night for weeks.

Deso has definately improved as rather than getting steamrolled by AS in prime time like last time we manage to hold our own.

the whole point about the servers is redundant, are there Russian servers? No most Russians play with english servers and communicate well enough. Are there Asian servers no, are there Ozzy servers, no. mexican, brazilian etc etc… No.

All those countries can play where they choose, in fact everyone can. So why don;t we just enjoy the fight and move on from all this complaining?

If ruin was a 30 people guild it would be fun we would fight on equal ground at night. But you are far more than that and the frustrating part is that we can’t do anything against such a number.

Speaking of numbers, I was shocked at how many were fielded by Vizunah at SM tonight. That was a suprise and props to the people on deso who responded quickly to shove them off and proceed to take Valley garrison from Vizunah later. Some of the best fighting in EB I’ve been apart of; it even had my heart pounding at certain points (which doesn’t happen often in video games).

when you see outstanding www results with the first ones having score with an excedent of 100k points over the 2nd one, it does not mean that they “dominate” the others.

It is just that they fielded more number to ensure this “victory”.

Usually, it is simply because they have all the nights to make points thanks to night crew zerg overwhelming any opposition.

This has been the most even match up so far, the only issue I’ve encountered was the bugged orb on one of the borderlands (Arborstone?). Keep it up guys! We’re halfway there!

Good matchup! Enjoying the fights 24/7, also had some nice battles for ascension bay on arbor BL this morning (30~ mins ago), VS seemed to have a massive force but we called in help from other maps and managed to hold the bay (which had the orb too).

Desolation a small 5k points away from reaching VS in score, so we’ll be having plenty more battles to come!

On a side note, the orb in Deso BL keeps bloody resetting on it’s own, it’s like the 4th time this match. The quaggen don’t kill the altar, the altar just blows up, orb on the ground, and we can’t put it back even with spamming F on the altar. Rather annoying because then the orb respawns up north and basically becomes a free give-away.

I saw comanders staying for 12 hours but fatigue appears ; AS already gave up and VS will follow.
Sorry for the US people who wanted “challenge” during our nightime , i hope that our doors and NPC will give you hard time.

Elona matched our night presence then AS did with help from a 30~ member canadian guild (which caused drama on french forums)

Either way, we will all see each other next week and you will see the real strength of both VS and AS as there won’t be any school holiday and the night resistance is likely to lower by a lot.

None. This is about nightcap which is different problem.
Yes they are players in the EU, who do not play on EU prime time. Ever heard of nightshift ?
They never meant to point at non-EU players because there was none to little present in EU brackets. Today we are not in the same situation.

How come ? It’s clearly stated the NA and EU in EU/NA bracket ? I would say his thinking is the right one. How do you justify that people can go anywhere when it’s specified ?

NA had problems with oceanic and asian players because of the internet map, (cf this link). You can clearly see that all of the wires are connected to the USA from asia/oceania while there’s just a tiny connection to Europe. ALL of those players go to NA servers for way better ping in every game. That’s why before RUIN came Wv3 was over 90% EU players, each having the same abilities and possibilities. While indeed NA has a more international and worldwide side to itself (with huge balancing problems, some servers being completly left out by the internationalization part) !

Which is why, I wonder if you want the same thing to the EU fights too ? 2 international servers with 25 others impossible to fight them. Because don’t start dreaming, EU has never been an international area, and won’t start being suddenly. And one thing is sure, the 7 german servers, 5 french one and the spanish one will never be international. Why would a game leave out half of its population ? When before everyone was on better equal standings (“everyone” — at least a sizeable % of the population — is able to wake up at 6am and raid for 30min before going to work or such things which many servers did to “nightcap”).

Sorry buddy but i think we are looking at this from totally different viewpoints. You can put up as many nice little maps linking things together as you want the simple fact is NOTHING states the EU is for only EU players. Nothing unless ive totally missed something.

Putting EU/NA in front of server name was a silly idea cause it gives people something to brandish when sabre rattling when talking about those “nasty americans” who come to batter down our doors in the dead of night.

Lot more i want to go on about but wont due to the fact of a quick lockdown of this page and insta ban.

Its a game. Play within the guidlines set and have fun. Too much moaning on these pages and the most of it comes from a set group of people.

I love this post just a few days ago I was reading how people will do thier talk out on the battlefield etc and thats what its really about.

Yeah Desolation does deserve the ranking we have been 2 v 1 a large part of this matchup wether you choose to acknowledge an alliance or not. I say this because heads up even numbers we can crush either one of you man for man in most battles. Thats when we arent being kicked by two sides from both angles. Even then we hold our ground. It takes 2 servers to hold one back. Not even the right one is loosing either.

Arborstone need to wake up I have seen some outstanding tacts from them. How on earth were you guys pigeon holded into doing Vizunahs dirty work. How many times will you fall for what they seem to be selling you before it dawns on you of the two you are a far better server in terms of caliber. Vizunah seems extremely weak to me you can melt thru their players like butter and they run away from anything but an outnumbered match which they still often loose XD.

I have also seen it spun this is Ruins fault. So tired of hearing that and all the hate spread/defeastist attitudes etc. So I have to ask is it our fault you can’t attract other people to your server? And with attitudes like I am seeing is it any wonder.

I have an idea for you both to get the numbers you want. Condense into one? you seem to enjoy tag teaming people anyway wether it was for a day or a week who really cares. But that solves your problem and continual picking at other servers for employing tacts that carried you guys to auto win on T1. Now you don’t like being on the recieving end? Welcome to real life you win some you loose some.

Stop abusing players from Deso for using the exact tacts you usedto autowin and condense that solves your argument on numbers. But I am guessing you know heads up even as one man for man you still can’t beat |Desolation. Thats the real truth isnt it so who is really exploiting a thing.

as long as NA/oceanic/where-ever are able to transfer to an EU server that is ANET stating that it is OK! otherwise they would block it.

and really do you have any idea how many EU people play on US servers? Don’t hear them complaining. Should every German player be forced to play on a DE server? French an FR? Play where ever you want and live with the consequences of your choices.
your server will balance out in whatever tier it has balanced competition, the tiers are designed for that.

I think many server over estimated RUIN guild size and they still do , i know is easier for them to keep under control everything since their play time is when most of EU sleeps , i saw in previous match some one pulled out like 2k RUIN members don’t know from where , and also some one mentioned why they don’t build their EU comunity they do that’s why you seeing them even in EU times , and yes if we want fair matchups we need more servers like desolation to make wvwvw competitive other wise there will be no chalenge to win.

What I have been told is you guys nightcapped your way to the top and of 2 servers surely you have enough between the two of you to put some night crew together or show the rest of the world some of your own out of the box thinking to draw the appropriate guilds to your server. People like solutions and I can’s in life not oh I give up and its unfair.

Was it not unfair when you nightcapped your way to the top or is that all just a distant memory? Treat people as you would be treated life bounces back on you and don’t dish out what you expect not to recieve in these games.

Desolation actually worked on their server as a whole and used some out of the box thinking. That is part of any rl battle for a successful side. Try actually working on your servers as a whole rather than expecting it to drop into your lap off the back of a few cheap one pony show tricks.

Its pretty easy to kick people from both sides distract them and tear them apart and you haven’t seen ruin cry over it simply mention its been used. We accept it and to be frank we were expecting allot more of a fight especially considering its been employed.

Work on your servers as a whole but I have seen far more flexible attitudes and better play out of arborstone. Its kind of sad to see what could be a good side used so badly. I would build up arbor if I had any say because their level of play is 100 times better than Vizunah’s and they seem open to trying new things.

VS and AS never had any alliance before that, and this one only lasted a few hours and only between the 2-5% of SOME of the big guilds’ population !! Add to that the fact that AS has been in T1 for 2 weeks only (counting this one !). Ask german players from Elona if they had an alliance against them to keep the french at the top, since they’re the only one to have faced both recently before Desolation.

As for nightcapping Elona actually had a better nightcapping force against both VS and AS, so sorry to say but there WAS a lot of competition on that side, and they actually were better than any of the two and that’s fine, they won and they deserved it.

This is getting more and more ridiculous by the hour. Know your facts.

As said before, the ENTIRETY of yesterday Deso held a points average into the high 200’s, matching and beating VS throughout the day (sometimes VS took a small lead, sometimes Deso). AS were nowhere to be seen yesterday, their worst performance of the week so far.

VS still seem to manage to hold a good score through most of the night, it’s only really really late, when it’s verging on morning again that Deso desolates everything.

Hopefully Blacktide will come to T1. They deserve a spot.

But you can’t blame desolation players becouse RUIN picked desolation as destination server as far as i know desolation didn’t asked US guild to transfer they came by their own will , ofc no one complained from desolation becouse they sorted out a very delicate problem we had but if you look carefuly after the 1 week matches started desolation fallen down in rank hard from the third position but we started to recovery even before RUIN joined then things got easier , but from my point of view im living in EU GTM+2 zone when i play is EU prime time so servers have player caps so is busy prime time , for my self i can’t speak about night time.

I have to say also your night cap argument holds no water a few days ago it was smuggly posted up by someone it was a great and valid tact to counter night capping. Its not our fault you guys can’t get along. You do have the option to condense also. And Ruin are nowhere as big as you seem to think. You have just been outplayed accept it pick your yourselves up and bring it harder thats what we want. Good pvp not cheap tricks.

Desolation have been kicked from both sides yesterday in EB for hours we were hammered at both end. Yet still we hold our ground and give up few points. As two sides dring a day time I am sorry but its not our fault you can’t wipe us off the map.
I havent seen either one of your sides hold up to a 2 v 1 the way we have so yeah I think we got our stuff together still have things to learn but thats what any good player wants. Progression otherwise a game becomes boring.

Start remebering its a game and have fun with it. Find answers not unfounded bigotry that holds no water. Read the posts well you can’t now the other thread got canned but at least half a dozen Ruin memebrs credited your sides in one way or another at some point. All you can do is bash on them and slander that guilds name.

I remember our nightcap against your server not organized during night and all your cry against our fake guild with 500 canadian.

What I suggest is to merge ladder, I’m not crying. Why should we have 2 ladder if US player play on European server ?

Taunt: i saw good moves from a few Deso guilds (iron, GH…) but we use to call Deso players “zombies” ; they just swarm you , wipe , they come again, wipe again….. reminds me brain dead :p

Why are the servers open for transfer as a whole then? Who decided you got to decide for Ruin?.. What about a team wanting superior pvp? Give yourselves some credit as a whole the european bracket is higher in caliber. On the whole again at least Ruin are giving valid responses and some credit to you side. I haven#‘t seen one nice comment back in return? Any wonder why people wouldn’t want to go to a place like that. Reeks of broken to me sorry to pitch that out there. You guys should show some sportsmanship and accept even as 2 during the day to get the points back you can’t break Desolation. So on that basis yeah we deserve the ranking.

Why are the servers open for transfer as a whole then? Who decided you got to decide for Ruin?.. What about a team wanting superior pvp? Give yourselves some credit as a whole the european bracket is higher in caliber. On the whole again at least Ruin are giving valid responses and some credit to you side. I haven#‘t seen one nice comment back in return? Any wonder why people wouldn’t want to go to a place like that. Reeks of broken to me sorry to pitch that out there. You guys should show some sportsmanship and accept even as 2 during the day to get the points back you can’t break Desolation. So on that basis yeah we deserve the ranking.

Of course they give positive comments, its the first time they see someone at night, how awesome that must be ! Also if the last thread where VS succeeded in overwelming them one night only you’d see the comments weren’t all positive.
Finally as already stated I’m not even from any of the sides, just disgusted to see the reality twisted as it is and seeing that players were successful in ruining the game. Give people a great game, the only thing it’ll lead to is it becoming wasted.

Get of your horse and acknowledge that if you “hold your ground” it’s mainly because AS is tired and has no night force and Vizunah has to wake up and spread the WvW population during the whole 24 day to keep up.

And i love how Ruin says “we want challenge” and transfer on another time zone to play alone in WvW vs NPC and doors. Where is the challenge ??

Ps: the alliance lasted for a few hours, maybe a day, and you got DEMOLISHED. If the alliance had continued during the week, you would be at +50 max during the day. but whatever you think.

AS is tired for a reason they got broke. If they had been winning they would have been here rejoicing. Theres no horse to ride out on buddy only cold hard facts. lol some of us do have some work to do yeah your right so rather than join your sandpit il go focus on WHAT I CAN DO IN LIFE xd. AS has 30 NA players (québécois) which came after ruin did, and they’re nowhere to be found anymore maybe they left (I don’t think it was meant to last, more as a counter-troll). VS has nearly no NA players except maybe a dozen playing in different guilds, and that’s definitely not those you see at night. Québécois play on NA servers usually since it’s their own timezone and since they usually get way better ping from those.

Anyway it’s pretty obvious you’re trolling, Mortality. If you really think that then I sincerely sympathize with you. Many things must be going on, eh.
