We had Arbor and BT outnumbered pretty badly on the reset, I hope it evens out a bit more as we had a pretty strong reset numbers wise.
[PI] stilll had some good fights with both sides.
Lets hope we can have a fun week of WvW!

Was fun tonight. Was good seeing Hawk fighting with us, while not being in good health.

I do hope we see more even numbers from both Arborstone and Blacktide this week, as we all need some good fun fight and I bet we will.

I really hope this doesn’t turn into just another blow out week for RoF, even if we’re winning.

Had some nice three way battles on Arborstone BL around bay, thanks for the fights.

So looks like we might have another unbalanced week ahead of us, honestly hope not, but atm both Arborstone and Blacktide look heavily outnumbered, this ain’t better than being stomped by GH or RoS numbers (just making examples).
Managed to get couple of nice fights on reset and also yesterday, hope u guys can field more numbers, i like the fights to be hard (not impossible) and fun, GL!

p.s. on a side note, even if outnumbered (as a server) abusing the invulnerability spot at camps ain’t very cool, xpecially if the fight is not heavily unbalanced, i’m talking to ECG guys of arborstone, yr mesmers were good enugh to try and avoid that glitch :P

Yeah, it’s another blowout week for RoF but at least we’re winning this one. On one hand it’s good because players on our server are coming back to WvW, but on the other hand they are mostly just joining the zerg.

The other thing I want to say is, Arborstone isn’t very good even if they can field a reasonable sized zerg. Last night they did a fast take down on our Briars tower with the help of the NPC commander. We got it back minutes later with a couple of catapults under the bridge. Nobody stayed behind to defend their only tower on the map. That’s just wrong, but this story gets better.

Arborstone brought their zerg back to Briar and took it again, but they didn’t kill the catas under the bridge. So we used those catas a second time to take back an undefended (again) tower. If we screwed up like that RoF commanders would have been in capslock mode but this story gets even better.

Arborstone came back yet again, this time with 3 catas of their own, and I personally killed all 3 of them while sitting on just one cata, behind the door at Briars. They have no idea about siege placement. Want to hear more? Ok, I got more.

Even though I got those 3 catas the door was almost down, so I went and hid. Yeah, my main is a mesmer and they didn’t come looking for me. Portal a couple people in, and we took it back so fast we actually surprised ourselves.

In about 30 minutes that tower flipped more often than most supply camps get flipped, and it was all because of some sloppy play by the Arborstone invaders. It would be really nice if defending a map was always this easy.

The best part of this story? Arborstone will never read this, because they’re French.

They are probably new/less experienced WvW players who picked it up after their core WvW guilds and players left them. Arborstone did drop a lot of places after all. If anything, such players should be encouraged rather than you trying to make them look ridiculous.

I’m also glad Arbor is putting up a fight and don’t think mocking them is really helping anyone.

I really wonder how many Pve players both blacktide and arbor have left as BT still has a high population.

Its funny how you guys mock Arborstone when you lost so badly to UW last week when UW wasn’t trying.

Arbor lost a LOT of players, pretty much its entire community of wvw players left them, I’m impressed they are still trying.

Stop being a sore winner, its embarrasing

We weren’t really trying last week either because that was our 4th losing blowout in a row. We’re winning this week, and it doesn’t feel any better. We’re getting some good fights but I can’t see this lasting much longer. We all know what happens when a server hits +695 night after night.

That still doesn’t excuse really poor play.

I’m from RoF and have found Arborstone play very good defense mostly. Had alot of quite intense battles so far which is nice even though it’s an unbalanced week. I hesitate to push the offense into Arborstone much more than I did UW with the same numbers on each side, they must have been quite a force when they had the numbers.

It’s an unbalanced week which is a shame but still some good fighting to be had as Blacktide are pulling out some decent numbers on occasion now as well. This week isn’t going to be one I thought I would have to either skip or spend it running clean across maps constantly just to re-take the odd camp after all so that’s good.

Ok just wanted to say thank you to all my guildies for tonight event, and of course thanks also to BT for defending their BL like lions!
Had loads of fun (and badges) took lake tower, got spanked on the camp, tried hills and got spanked, took bay, and tried garrison, then our last golem went to search its soulmate on the wrong gate ;P
Tonight has been fun, first really fun night i had in weeks, pls keep fighting and gl to every server!

Had fun in arbor bl this afternoon, stuck between arbor on one side BT on the other, trying to hold our tower, after the afternoon long siege of bay.

Yeah, Arborstone on left and Blacktide on right, but we still attacked AS north camp. Nice, really nice battle there.
And also those parties at Bay, or Hills. Even FR that wiped us in their Garrison Lords room.
Really some wonderfull fights yesterday evening.

Credit where it is due. Arborstone brought numbers to EB tonight and took back their corner with ease. It looked to me like they waited until they had the numbers, and then rushed EB, and got their keep back, and the nearby towers and supply.

While this afternoon I come on to wvw on my not so good thief.
We was fighting with Blacktide and was having some kitten good fun. Arborstone turn up but was stuck in between both us and BT and so did not stay for to long.
The fight between Blacktide and ROF was changing, dieing on both sides.
That was good and fun. We took the tower back off you in end on our BL but maybe we should of let you keep it for a lot longer, just so both sides could have more fun.

Would be nice to see more of that.

If only there was one map with 3 towers on it that could not be taken and no Legendary Defenders to guard it. A map that could not use siege weapons as there was no point. With maybe runes, builds and good landscape just for cover. Ideal being so we could fight each other for the pure fun and the players come on there just for that reason and not to camp each other tower, so you could not get out. Maybe even Arenanat could have events of some sort run on there now and then. I am not talking a pvp map but maybe a place to take the boredom away from wvw but being still part of wvw.
I am sure it would be so much fun and every one would in enjoy it.
