Are ACs still too strong?
Bring in omega golem, wreck AC’s. Problem solved. Also rushing the AC and also throwing down water fields coupled with blast finishers along the rush path should get you through.

I think they need the damage upped a bit. I didn’t mind the damage before it got turned down.
ACs are fine. The range is a bit short however.
I think they’re fine as is now, including their range. However, I think the use of wide video resolutions and window mode stretching to get a field of view that achieves AC targeting not otherwise obtainable still needs to be addressed.

4 or 5 arrow carts should be able to hold a large group at a door or tight spot!!
If anything they should be more powerful than they are. As they are now I can still dance in and out of multiple rings of arrow fire and not die.
ACs are not okay. They were never okay. You can use ACs to shoot locations where they should not be able to hit. This has been reported already many times last Autumn and still not fixed.
Superior ACs were already doing a bit too good damage before the patch and traits.
But like some other people have pointed out the crazy army of golems has made ACs kinda irrelevant. If enemy has a huge blob + tons of omega golems it is difficult to stop it taking your keep.

They never had the range of catapults, people were just idiots and built catapults too close the majority of the time, instead of at max range.

Not everyone can dodge every 2 seconds for a full minute..What is this mysterious dancing you speak of?
Nerf ACs. They should be nerfed hard already. Sieging is a joke with ACs now.
Ac’ s do indeed a lot of damage but i prefer that you can buiild less ac’s around the same place. Also they should limit the damage when there are 30+ of your server in the neighborhood.
As a squishy ele, I think arrow carts are great. I have a big stack of superior ACs with me all the time and I am putting my Wxp into arrow cart mastery. I wish TC used them much more than we do. We have been on the receiving end of ACs and know how effective they can be, but we rarely use them ourselves. I guess most of us won’t sit still that long. We tend to set up a few then abandon them to expire.

You complaining because it was difficult to take the largest most “valuable” structure in the game that was fully upgraded, sorry buddy you know there is this thing called defending you should try it Sometime…especially with siege as cheap as It is defenders need a buff if anything

nope, a bunch of timewarped Golems using 3 will kitten any door in seconds (literally) whilst taking kitten damage from whatever gets through. A single Supac will stall almost any ram based attack bar guardian blobs, and 2+ will kill everything, so Catas are used and further counter seige like counter catas or trebs are used. But w/e, Golems, bam.
Be funny if they introduce Golem mastery with prices as they are!

I simply meant don’t stand still in the ring, move in and out as you can. I can’t recall the last time I died to just AC fire alone.
Seriously though, you don’t think you should be able to stand in an AC ring for a full minute do you?
I have seen ACs completely back a determined 60 man zerg off, over and over. If there are enough ACs placed well, they can definitely kill.
I’ve seen enough ACs on inner Bay to make it nearly impenetrable. I’ve also seen a single trebuchet erase them all. ACs are fine as long as you remember that catching the arrows with your face is not one of the counters.

Then bring in 3 omega golems and rush them through the front line. Then wreck AC. The answer is always more omega golems.

The only joke is people who think they should be able to waltz up to every door and manmode it down.
If your commanders fail to take things because of enemy ACs, then they are bad. It is not that hard to destroy ACs, really it isn’t.
dunno, I have seen some very ego heavy commanders walk away from towers full of ACs. There are two areas in particular in EB that other servers understand way better than mine does that we will not get close to based on AC alone, golems or not. The real deciding factor with AC is having people man them instead of running off with the zerg.
Langor can be a major ouch, so can the area around Wildcreek. Just depends on whether people will stay put or run off.
There are so many red circles it is actually funny. The commander will be shouting in mumble that if you die it is just because you don’t know how to dodge. Then he dies. (and blames it on the eles for lack of enough water fields and blast blast blast blast.)

There is a reason why cata attacks on WC are common. Regardless, ACs in WC aren’t hard to take out. Langor is another matter because of its proximity to both the keep and the enemy spawn.
Again, I will say, ACs are not invincible. They do not have that much HP. Enemy supply is not unlimited. Eventually tower supply will drop to zero and it will be taken. Sieges are supposed to be battles of attrition, not one offs where you march up to a 700 supply tower and expect to take it on the first go, though that happens a lot too.
The issues isn’t an AC, its stacking of ACs.
There are ways around them, but ultimately they just make things less fun.
