You exist in a tier where a vast number of dedicated WvW players have caved and moved from BP and AR to EB. There’s almost zero chance of either server beating Ehmry alone, so it makes sense to work together when possible.
There’s a reason I didn’t stay in T5. It’s pointless and far more boring than T1, despite the fact that it’s nothing but bandwagons and overwhelming coverage/numbers here. At least there are people to play with and against at any given time.

Perspective is a really funny thing. From where I sit EB holds the trash talking trophy. It’s almost funny to hear you claim to be so sensitive. You lost from neglect, of all things, and that’s what made your ears/eyes bleed when someone dared to do what you do routinely: Crow.
I like reading some of the Ebay posts that talk about how much skill they have, how much better they are at GW2, how they don’t normally talk trash but BP deserves it. I don’t think they realize they are a Chris Brown in this situation.

It’s simple Dio…there’s a cap for how many players each side can have. So if AR and BP are both ganging up on us, and assuming AR is at half capacity and BP is at full capacity, you’re outnumbering us by 50%.
The problem with that is BP at full capacity. Reset night, yeah, maybe, but over the 24 hour day, 7 days a week, do you think BP + AR > EB. I honestly don’t. I started doing WvW 2 months ago. I do it at least 2 hours a day at least 5 days a week and have been queued exactly twice over that time period.

I believe you and that detracts from the theory that EBay is full, BP is full, and AR is at half therefore EBay is outnumbered. I would guess that over it is more like BP is 60-70% of EBay and AR is 50% of EBay, but I don’t have any way to verify that. And that would mean that BP + AR > EBay in numbers, but it would also mean that EBay is outnumbered less by the tag team than AR and BP are outnumbered when not teamed.

You’d have stalwarts like me who’d still be there mixing it up, just like I did In the old days when most of our pugs gave up on us, but it’d be ugly.

I personally don’t sit in many ques. I’m very active in WvW when I have time to play so I’m normally in there before things que. Most of the ques I know about are via teamspeak or guild chat and tend to happen in the peak of prime-time outside of specific reasons.

Skimming your comment I was anticipating it being written by a BP or AR player talking about the current matchup. So apparently it isn’t a unique occurence for the losing servers fair weather players to pack it in and make the matchup even more lopsided.
Did EB have to also face all the trash talking from the green server about being baddies and L2P ?

I would say you guys would probably do better than us CD in T4. You guys have a far bigger NA while we have lost our night guilds to TC.
Honestly, I think a match between, CD, SBI, and Ebay would be awesome. Too bad we’ve never gotten the chance. Always a T3 server in there with us.

Ehmry Bay spent a week getting stomped by Kaineng on their way up through the tiers. It wasn’t what I would call a fun experience, but our gameplay improved dramatically as a result of it.
from what I’ve seen in my time on Ehmry Bay (and I’ve been here since release) EB plays best when they feel challenged. AR and BP have gotten to see this for themselves, first-hand.
there are EB players, of course, who may complain on the forums when they feel challenged. I think being challenged makes a lot of EB players unhappy, not because they can’t handle a challenge but rather because it simply means they have to stop being lazy.

Yeah. And we complained about the same things BP and AR complain about to us and people had the same mentality of “we’re outmanned but more skilled.”
It’s like that with every matchup, with every server, every time. That’s why people saying “I have no respect for EBay” are juvenile idiots who are obviously either new to the forums or overly kitten over having the tables turned for a little too long.
When we move out and roles are switched, the red/blue servers are going to be saying the same things being said now to the green server and visa versa.

Oh yes, definitely. Back in the day NSP were the zergers and Maguuma was the server we hated. I think alot of us still bear a grudge against Maguuma lol. Admittedly I have a small grudge against them myself (Ok it’s a hungry flame not a small grudge lol). But I’m not looking to go into that, lets just say that we lost a few rounds and some other stuff happened too which made for many locked threads.
We’ve also been glutted before (alot more players than we have now, queing 3-4 BL’s on reset night), been completely abanadoned before (being outmanned for awhile till we built back up, and were much more terrible at coordination, teamwork, and even overall player quality back in the day.
Those of us that have been here since beta have gone through quite a ride and the smacktalking has gone every which way, not just both ways.
