I’m not complaining or saying that I’m bored of the map, but I can imagine that in the future it will get quite repetitive. So are there any plans to release a new map, in an update or an expansion?

A) Buy Darkness Falls from Mythic

or

B) Steal Darkness Falls from Mythic

or

C) Do an ArenaNet version of Darkness Falls from DAoC combined with Tomb of the Vulture Lord from WAR. Bring back the Orbs in WvW as the mechanism for opening the entrance (but no buffs from Orbs).

Seriously, all the ex-DAoC/WAR players would have their hankies out. Wiping the tears of joy from their eyes I mean. What did you think I meant? Oh myyy.

sPvP is getting a new map, but as of now, I don’t think WvW is getting anything new. The PvE world is also getting a new island with a new quest chain. Anet seems to be pretty good at pumping out new maps/locations though, so theres no doubt in my mind that we’ll have a new WvW map or something equal eventually. But as of now, no.

i’d love to see each server have their own specific map as their borderlands. it would give more of home town feel to the place. the only drawback is then people would say “their map has (insert random area). it gives them an advantage. it’s unfair! WAAAAHHH!!!!” while completely disregarding any advantages their own maps would have. but since it’s been proven that if people can complain, they will, about anything, i don’t really see what difference a new topic to complain about would make, while also adding some fun and positive contributions.

A new WvW map wouldn’t work out. Many servers do not have enough people to fill up the current 4. Now a rework/redesign of the current maps would be phenomenal.
