Just wondering.
How hard could it possibly to make a new thread with some copy paste text asking what players want? I mean, that would at least make you look interested into your player feedback, which we all know isn’t the case, but hey, PR tricks.

What happend with the older CDI’s ? havent seen much of it so why bother to ask for another one?

That’s what the old CDIs were and players have finally caught on.

CDIs only work if ANet plans on using the information to develop content in the mid-term. As of now the CDI has been mostly pointless.

We were promised a CDI WEEKS AGO! If Dev’s don’t some up with something significant in WvW and actually makes some kitten changes my guild and I are going to start looking for a new game to play. Even if the other options out there right now are crap. Heck even Half Life 1 looks good right about now.

Plot twist: There is no WvW design team.

It would just be another post they would have to ignore.

I find it funny they can make new finishers all the time, but no bug fixes or CoL changes in forever. I use to buy all the finishers until I saw they were not going to do anything with WvW, so I have no reason to support them, not only do we not get updates, we don’t even get communication on any plans or if anything at all is in the works. So vote with your wallet, stop buying gems.

It’s probably better if they don’t have one at all. The CDI they intended to launch was on tournaments specifically, so unless you want to see people venting a bunch of fiery opinions about season 2, there’s really no point. Just about every single thread that has attempted a discussion of the problems with the current tournament structure has ended up turning into matchup threads.

On a different note, I completely agree that if you don’t like the direction of the game, the right move is to stop buying gems. I for one have no faith whatsoever that an appropriate percentage of the money spent on this game goes toward improving WvW, and as such stopped buying gems some time ago.

There is no Dev action on WvW at all. Not a single dev post here in how long? So many people getting bored and leaving… Maybe some sort of coordinated effort for people to boycot WvW on specific days every couple weeks might get some kind of attention to the real problems, to make things worse, we (BP) have been in the same match-up for the last 3 weeks… Thanks ANET for reinforcing how stale WvW has become… Spoon

Even if there was a CDI it will be all bullkitten, just like previous CDI’s. Anet got no heart for WvW

Seriously, I completely forgot about that. I think it could be two things. The first being their complete lack of interest for anything WvW related. I think Anet truly doesn’t want anything to do with WvW but knows its a part of their game and that they’d look evil and alienate the playerbase if they simply said we don’t care. So instead they occasionally(very seldom) say something about WvW but procrastinate for the rest of the time.

The second thing could be that they decided not to because of the backlash players had to another season. Season 2 felt extremely tiring, and players met burnout after about a month. Also Seasons are an excuse not to add content, its just them doing the bare minimum for WvW. They could have at least said something like we changed our minds we have no current plans for a CDI until the future.
