ArenaNet should give 3-day WvW matches a try.
Why? look at the T1 match going on now… its so close between SBI and JQ, IoJ have fallen behind but hey have a huge roll in deciding who will win… its jsut begun people!!
I think their intention was to have matches reset on Friday afternoons.

Until the free transfers are closed or a cooldown implemented on entering WvW after transfer, and the orb/outmanned buffs are swapped or retooled somehow, changing the length of matches will not help balance much.

EU matches start 1am Saturday allowing US to cap the whole maps before EU wakes up.

3 day matches would be too short, you need to cover the whole week, not just the weekend or 3 workdays.
But what the could is to adjust the start of new rounds for Europe.

Shorter matches had people not spending money on siege/ upgrades because it felt as though it was just going to reset. Ironically enough, longer matches have many of the same sentiments about night capping resetting the map.
The only thing that can be changed here is the cost. The duration of the match doesn’t seem to be affecting how much these same individuals are willing to spend on Dub Vee Dub.
I’d like them to reset after 84 hours.

i would be good with 3 days, but only on weekends, Friday-sunday since then no one could complain about night capping.
I’m in! 3 Days would be perfect. As it is I don’t really log in for any length of time monday through thursday. Battle is always over by Sunday night in my book.
