Arenanet, how do we now report cheaters?
If you can get the report screen up you are able to report them for whatever it is they are doing. The names have nothing to do with it.

Did you even read my post? I bolded the part where I say there’s no option to report cheaters.

I did… mostly. Before gold selling was an option people reported for the closest thing to what was happening. I would personally go for the botting option if I saw someone flying around. No matter what you pick it should bring that person to the Dev’s attention.
Only options are:
Botting
Inappropriate character name
Spamming
Verbal Abuse
Scamming
Selling gold
Reporting them for any of these will not let the devs know what to look for. In fact, false reports can most likely get you in trouble.
There needs to be a report for cheating option and an ability to add in a comment or short description. This way the team can check their logs and possibly see something incriminating.
Myabe it is simply because Anet does not care. This has already been reported and requested and so far… nothing.
Also There are players cheating and botting that were reported and seen 2-3 days hiher level and continuing, they did not get banned or something. so either Anet has no time/resource to enforce the statement about zero tolerance or they just d’ont care enough sadly.
Screenshot behavior, report as botting, THEN go into the Guild Wars 2 main page, go to support, file a violation report and reference the bot report from your account, so they can put the two together and get the players ID and go from there. attach screenshots to the petition.

Hello there.
It is true that there is no “cheating” option available at the moment; this has been brought to the attention of the devs already (and I will certainly forward this to their attention today again). What you can do is what Cover Girl and others point out: report them under the tab “botting” and open a ticket, so the security team gets a complete report on this issue.
We proceed now to close the thread.
Thanks for your reports and understanding!
