A bunch of servers are losing people via exodus for the high tiers. Some of us, like SBI are clearly on the decline. What good guilds we have left will either leave or be forced to try and compete in lopsided matches for weeks at a time until we decline to where we belong. Soon free transfers end and the server hopping will settle. Why not bring back those 1 and 3 day matchups and let everyone settle back down? Clearly no one stands to benefit from inbalanced matchups and none of us who want to WvWvW want long boring matchups.

I don’t think that balancing WvW is something that ANET is all that capable of doing, because it is not in their best interests to force people to go to certain servers. Also, I hope this never happens. I prefer weeklong WvW battles over short sprints of fighting in 1 and 3 bay matchups.

If we could make the matches shorter for a period it would allow things to even out faster.

Do not reconsider, just do it. Those people leaving would have left at some point so whats it matter if its now or later. Should have been done 1 month after release.

If Maguuma are the trolls they’d like us to believe they are, then on January 27th they’ll “night cap” a different server, and by that I mean all suddenly vanish from Maguuma and leave the new transfers on Maguuma to figure out wtf to do with themselves.

Maguuma players if you’re reading this, I recommend moving to Kaineng because obviously.

Lol we’re now back to the shorter WvW match up argument. 1 week works because it covers all days where people have their off hours to play this game. A 3 day match up from Monday to Wednesday does not allow the players who work or attend classes to make a decent showing in WvW.

We’re all transferring to Sea of Sorrows, that’s why we’ve been big-upping them in our recruitment thread so much.
