Ascended armor is not in the game right now, but if it was, it would drop in the Fractals.

I saw this blurb at Dulfy about the new PVE content, and it’s a little vague.

Ascended Armor would drop in Fractals if it were here, but does that mean only in Fractals? Doesn’t clarify.

I hope Anet knows better than to go down that road again, where WvWers would be second class citizens for months again. Plenty of time to get out in front of this if so.

No! It means that if ascended armor was available in-game, they would be potential drops in Fractals just like ascended weapons are now.

In fact, they are loosening up some of the ascended stuff this patch. We can now make ascended backpieces with bloodstone dust in place of vials of mist essence.

No, I’m at work. I was just going off of what was said in the patch notes. I assume it involves bricks or stacks of dust.

Apparently the recipes with the crystals now work. It’s still awfully bloody expensive for a back piece. Mats for the yakkington celestial comes in at close to 100g.

Oh well. I guess I really didn’t want that after all. ><

Any idea what the Dust amount is? And is it Dust or Bricks?
