I assume, If I no longer play PvE I won’t be able to make a Ascended Weapon?

Nah you get all or most of the mats in WvW from my understanding. Also there is a chance for Ascended drops where you get to pick the weapon of your choosing.

And in my other dream..if the chances are anything like the current ‘there is a chance of a fractals type drop in wvw chests and rank rewards’ then don’t hold your breath.

Also, note that ascended weapon recipes use laurels, so they will be totally time gated, and once again those that use alts, multiple weapon sets etc will be given short shift.

Let’s all become melee train spam 1 and then we won’t need any variety of weapons, sets, classes, etc and would have some hope of obtaining things.

Would that be like when they said we would be able to buy arsended gear in WvWs, yet it took months for even the first items to appear & some still aren`t accessible..

Ascended items are a grind to keep pve’ers playing, and anet really doesn’t care about the effect it has on wvw’ers. Don’t expect to get ascended weapons from wvw because it won’t happen.

325 rank chest and not 1 ascended ring so I’m not holding my breath for an ascended weapon drop lmao
