So i have this question bothering me quite a while so i decided to ask here for a correct answer.
Will i still have the same chance of getting ascended chests if i play with my low level characters. Because i wanna level them up through WvW but that would mean that i might not get ascended chests. I know that u get gear to your required level but does that also mean for the ascended chests

Hm, I don’t know. Ascended chests do not have a level on their own, such that the normal rule:" You cannot get an item of higher level than your char" cannot apply.

And you can get them from Defeating Tequatl the Sunless, Triple Trouble or Guild missions reward chests as well, all are events you can attend below level 80.

I’m REALLY hoping you mean leveling them in Edge of the Mists…not one of the actual WvW maps.

I think that ascended chests respect the rule of ascended materials:. you can only find them if you are lvl 80.

I got an ascended armor chest on my guardian when she was level 25 or so in a rank up chest, so yes its possible

I got an ascended chest at Tequatl with a level FOUR character. Plenty of disgruntled witnesses to it… I had no level 80 characters on the account, so I of course leveled just so I could make use of the weapon.

How the hell you were able to damage somenthing enough to get credit on a level 4 toon?
