Anyone enjoying the sudden rise in droprates for ascended items? Wonder how long it will last XD but I am glad my wvw brethren are getting some. I don’t know if you guys are experiencing this but on my server it seems like many people including myself are dropping them more than usual.

Haven’t seen a single ascended drop in wvw and spent many, many hours out there in last 3 days.

Yep. We’re seeing it as well. Hope they upped the Precursor drop rate, too. I’ve been waiting a long, long time for my first.

The precursor drop rate is iffy. Some are very lucky others not so much. It just depends on how many exotics you normal get before you see a precursor.

It’s not an increased drop rate, it’s due to the fact that The population is over saturated so more people are playing meaning more people are finding the drops and linking them.

Not entirely sure. Normally I get a ring like once a week with 5-6 days rallied in wvw.

In these last 2 days ive had 6 rings drop and 1 armor chest..

Oh really? Ascended drops? In WvW? O.O wow that’s kinda cool. Is it mats or armor and weapons as well? More reason to enjoy playing

Nope, no ascended for a long time and ofc no precursor for over 4 years.

Nice of anet to finally introduce ascended (without stupid rng) in wvw but tbh anyone who has spent a long time in a somewhat competitive side of wvw probably already have one or even several ascended sets. I waited until they introduced leathers as a component and it became a lot more expensive to craft them.

I also received more ascended drops than normal. I chalked it up to being an anomaly like winning in in a consecutive scratch lottery tickets. Maybe that’s all it is, but maybe they improved the odds.

More people are using boosters and ktraining now, so obviously they get more ascended Chests as about half of them drop from rank-up chests. Personally I got 150 ranks in 4 days and 1 ascended chest but i been nolifing it pretty much to hit diamond, and now that I did, I will drop the boosters and save them for when I need it.

Before it was basically sitting in keep afk waiting for commander or flipping some wooden towers with 1 cata 60% of the day.
