So why isn’t there any Asia Servers? I mean there is a larger player base. I float around 250 ping, and its really annoying “I main warrior” missing headbutts and SB when you are right next to a person. Just be nice to have at least one Asia server maybe two. Just a thought, I know you guys are really slow on fixing things or making changes cause the game does not have a monthly sub, which i am thankful for. Just be nice to have a good ping.

Western game, not enough asian playerbase. I dont think theres universal language that majority of Asians speak either.

China has its servers tho but its different publisher so you cant move your account there.

GW2 has enough APAC players to cover off-time in wvw.

Also, Many “Asia Server” of other games use “English” as main language.

1. There’s chinese servers, has to be separate because of chinese laws or something.

2. They would have to create 3 servers for those players for their own matchup, if you want them in the NA matches it would turn out wacky since the majority of those players would be playing with no opposition, having more than one would make the problems worse. See old matchups that had runaway scores because of overnight coverage like SoS. Also imagine if those servers got bandwagoned on.

3. Might be enough to get 3 servers going, but I’m sure there’s players rooted in their current servers because of community or guild for places like SoS DB JQ that wouldn’t move.

4. Wvw probably doesn’t make much money for anet in the first place, so they wouldn’t spend money to bring up so few servers in that area.

Same issues playing in Aus/NZ…. average ping is 250-400 for me.

Australia has horrible internet though.
