OP I honestly respect how civil you have been throughout this thread and its a nice breath of fresh air to have a mostly civilised discussion compared to most of the other wvw threads.

For something as complicated as a 3 way battle I think there should have been more controls put into place by anet to ensure a more even matchup. Like there are way too many servers in the wvw matchup. Maybe each server should put up a list on the forum of all their wvw guilds, how many people they field, and which timeslots they cover. That would let other servers come in to fill this gap and we will truly see some competitive wvw, which I think is what most of us want. It does require a bit of manipulation and work so quite skeptical if it will ever be done tho.

that has been tried we nearly had 8 balance servers, then it all went to kitten cos of trolls and ANET screwing up
Laylyn worked his kitten off recruiting for other servers, sending people where gap coverage was etc then got abused for doing it.
IMO its not worth the hassle either Anet do something to fix it or WvW will just keep spiraling downhill, and this game will become just another it had so much potential game

SoR has not and will never set up any form of an alliance, even if you don’t want to call it that. Let alone with a server we have so much bad blood with. If that means that JQ takes first every week then so be it. Winning means nothing. We all know that coverage is king. Why should we care then if they win? It just means they have better coverage.

If we were to team up would be any better than them? They win because of coverage but we win because we 2 v 1? LoL no thanks. I would rather kill everything in sight and call it a win.

I am from Blackgate and (Icoa) (Arma) (Rip) have no real issues that were said with SoR, Lions arch Map chat no one said anything serious as to why anyone would have some bad blood from BG side, so please tell me why SoR has bad blood and what caused it with BG.

If your 13 year old mentality can’t look past the BS and allaince your self for one to two weeks then please step out of Wv3 and let the mature people play.

He sounded mad eh what? Looks like you are the one getting upset. The alliance will never happen, SoR has said multiple times that we will never form and alliance with another server. Pathetic that another t1 server would actually ask for alliance imo.

It’s ok though cause t1 is about to go through MAJOR changes now. EMP wasnt the only guild to go to DB, from what I hear its both hardcore guilds from JQ and BG. Maybe you should bandwagon to DB also and be part of the new megaserver.

Anyways I think its safe to say that BG will now fall multiple tiers (thinking t3-4). If I were you guys I would continue to complain about the 2v1 since this might be ur last weeks in t1. I hope by now ppl realize that paying for guilds to xfer is the WRONG choice. They won’t bring any server loyalty and be the first ones to xfer off when times get tough. So pretty much the opposite of what SoR has.

If TC had t1 coverage, I bet TC and BG would work together against JQ because we are pretty much infatuated with each other. I can tell you if BG were to move down and TC move up, your problem is only going to get worse because most of TC still hates SoR and I include myself in that group. I know I would take a third place week after week just to see how low I could keep SoR’s score.

BG + SoR vs JQ… It will not ever happen unless major guilds who in control most of commanders sit down and make a deal together. Still the bad blood run deeps, SoR folk hate BG in blood so yea… Along with the attitude of “Let just go for easier PPT”, that will keep 2nd fight with 3rd all the time.

BG + SoR can 2v1 JQ in one condition without any arrangement that is when on wednesday SoR or BG score is within 10-15k to JQ so they (SoR/BG) are forced to engage JQBL as well as JQ’s FOO will be contained in JQBL to avoid their defeat. Even then there are many factors that will screw this up (e.g. BG’s focus either SoR or JQ).

The match we won JQ, we didnt focus on SoR for more PPT. We let SoR live on their map first, and use all our means to fill EBG/BGBL/JQBL first. (Unless we have spare man to SoRBL) We did able to pull massive amoung of attendance because people see there is hope. If by Wednesday score difference are like these, the competition that you guys want will never ever happen. You need to keep JQ score close to you by not killing each other SoR/BG until then.
