WvW is great. I love the intense battles but when it comes to collecting loot, you have to make a choice. Are you going to spam F during the fights and possibly pick up a banner or activate your finisher when unintended? (This also takes away from other skills you could be activating during these fights) Or are you going to fight and try to collect the loot later, which often results in missed loot and/or your party leaving you behind?

Could we please have a toggle option to collect loot automatically so we didn’t have to chose between these two?

You can assign a key to auto loot in Options > Control options, its somewhere around the bottom, so you can use F for interact like ress/pick up banner finisher etc and use the other key to quickly pick up loot.

I use one of my extra mouse buttons for auto loot so I don’t take a troll portal or do anything I don’t mean to.

In T1 I heard they just assign it to the “1” key, that way they do not have to worry about interrupting “skill”.

JK, seriously I assigned mine to an empty mouse button as well.

I use the scroll wheel(button) for it

I have a friend who assigned it to the shift key then bound their base attack to the left click and shift left click. This way in the middle of the fight they just hold down shift, spam their base attack and collect loot without thinking about it.

yea AoE loot makes things pretty easy, just set the option and if that still doesn’t help enough make a key bind in options >controls also and you should be ok.

I use F because I don’t mind missing blues and greens.

I’m still waiting for loot to respawn/autoloot when you waypoint. Sucks to be dead on the ground covered in loot bags you can’t touch…. Respawn and run 3/4 across the map… de-spawned bags, or large mobs.
