Automatically joining the team
Uhhm… not quite certain I understand the point of your post.
You want that the moment you enter WvW you and everyone else gets put into 1 Squad?
Might be different play styles here, I’ve typically avoided squads unless it’s my own guild running one. As they bore me, and I hate listening to all the useless stuff they talk about, and whining at people to do this or that etc.

Tbh, I think he just want to be able to see his allies on map.

This is what I’m getting from it, he/she feels you should auto join squads. No thank you, many Commanders close their squads for specific reasons anywhere from you’re not in TS to you’re on a Ranger. That should be and currently is the Squad leaders prerogative who he/she lets in the squad.

If this is what he/she means then ya, makes sense.
Inc, but what about the spies !!!

It’s a WORLD vs WORLD map, not “Commander A” vs some other “Commander” and the rest are just some kind of a “map filling” because they don’t fit the commander’s perspective for “WvW” pvp. If they want to run with their own group around doing stuff they like – there are smaller PvP maps and even PvE maps, because frankly some of these commanders do nothing but run around and cap Forts or supply locations avoiding PvP. I also see Commanders with poor decision making as to what and where on the map to attack next, not even splitting the team when capping smaller objectives to speed it up but instead drag 30 some players with them across the entire map in a some form of a Brownian motion.
Isn’t the role of a player in a WvW map to help their world win rather that doing their own chores?
About the spies – there are already spies on the map, called “scouts”, how are they any different than actual spies? Plus if the players in a world are smart enough, as a whole, they will always make sure to have eyes on their opponents to know what their movement around the map is.

I was all ready to write a huge wall of text, then stopped thought for a bit, and figured I didn’t see any point in writing a huge wall of text that nobody would bother read anyways and just get ignored.
- Players and commanders play as they want to.
- As long as they have fun, they’re doing it right.
- Commanders are not a public service.
- PVE is no challenge
- PvP map cap 10
- Zerglings hate splitting, more so than the commanders
- Spies are players sabotaging, or giving information to other side. Typically players with extra accounts on enemy server.

From my signature: “The objective is to win. The goal is to have fun.”
And to the idea: No. I do not want to be put in a map squad. I’d have to turn of all squad, party, team, etc chats from my window, and completely ignore them. I’d still be forced IN a squad, and couldn’t make a own group with my guildies to form a havoc or roaming group. It would be annoying as all heck, and I’d play less WvW. It would also likely tick of the CMD that have a dozen people in squad that ignores him, and he can’t do anything about.

No, there should NOT be one large group for the entire map, it would just be an annoyance.
Then don’t die, and your option is not to “sitting on the back and shooting bullets or arrows as a F warrior”, you need to git gud. Don’t just blindly walk back to where you died, use your map to see where they are heading to next, and if they are not tagged up go do your own thing or ask where they are now in map chat. The walks back are not long at all, stop complaining.
No, there should NOT be a waypoint at every objective. That’s a awful idea. It would ruin WvW.
You don’t get thrown into groups when you go into the pve maps, so why should they for wvw when there are many players who do their own thing solo or with their own groups.
If you want to be more informed about what’s happening around you have several places to look. Commander tags and squads, some are open and you are allowed to self join them, the ones closed are most likely coordinated groups like guilds who are using voice chat. Voice chat such as discord or teamspeak etc, every server uses one, get on it and join the public channels, some of the lower population servers don’t have many in there that’s just how it is.
Team and Map chat, while it has clutter on it, it does also have the scout reports and sometimes the commander is commanding through those channels. Join a wvw guild, run with them and only have to worry about running with them during raids. You can see team mates around you on the map, the ones that are further away, well there are other tell tale signs, did a sentry or camp just flip to your color? did a tower just flip your color? well maybe the group is there, follow the trail of white and orange swords.
Part of the experience of wvw is learning the map and it’s shortcuts, learning to avoid or finding groups, yes dying has a big penalty of sending you back to spawn on the long run back, that’s also why waypoints at the keeps are important to have. That should also be a motivator to play better, read situations better, and try not to die as often. Warriors also happen to be one of the better mobile classes in the game.
What you are doing is sitting around waiting for an invite, that’s your problem there, you have to reach out to join others on the map. If you want your front line warrior to be effective you’re going to have to join groups to share boons heals condi clears and stability, but frankly the current meta doesn’t call for frontline warriors, blame anet on that.
If you can’t find a squad, then make your own. But it sounds like you need to join a regular wvw guild.
North Keep: One of the village residents will now flee if their home is destroyed.

You sound angry, this is a game, those commanders purchased the game, if they want to run around with a closed squad and pick flowers they can do so. It is not your choice to say how others should play or enjoy the game no matter how highly you think of yourself. They do not need to go to smaller maps because you don’t like it. Buy yourself a tag and include everyone if thats what you want to do but don’t expect everyone to see things your way. Show us where the naughty commander touched you.
