Tell that to the guilds that transferred to ET to be with BG. They all got stuck in the bottom.

FA is really hitting it’s stride atm, I’ve never seen a more active OCX / SEA in T2 then right now. Many of our former linked BP making the move back to be with our great community.

Anyone looking for a change, then I’d highly recommend FA and T2. We’re not just NA.

They are not on the short end of the stick so yeah why hate it? Its a easy ride for them when you can have 2 omniblobs rolling any time of the day.

YB has no SEA, just occasionally DK no lifes and plays in SEA time which was what made T1 SEA so stale since they’d just have like 5-10 man back capping and no fights.

There’s frankly not enough SEA to go around. On YB I know of 12 players that are actual SEA players. JQ seems very blobby in both OCX and SEA from what I’ve seen. Feels like like old school T4 again, with hordes of DBs then omnipresent SEA around.

Here I’ll make it easy. GK is on FA. Everything else is SoR, since JQ fought them when the game said they were DB.

Recruitment threads always make me smile …. love the timezone politics that gets thrown down every time.

During the linkings it does matter what server the SEA guilds play on. Not guaranteed to be a long term relationship.

FA has plenty of players. One of the best ocx and now best sea’s in the game but that’s not enough for them. they want more. They even have a fat EU blob guild Hel. These guys spam on all the boards and even lion’s arch.

OK I retract, I am indeed lumping your linked server in with FA when I made those comments.

All I see is “Fort Aspendwood <rank> [ND]” and I can’t tell who is SoR and who isn’t.

I guess if you get enough people on FA then you’ll get linked with weaker servers also.

Right now though WITH your SoR link included you are super blobby during SEA and the server that blob busting guilds would have the most fun fighting AGAINST. This is of course a temporary link just as temporary as transferring to FA you may temporarily get to fight JQ. Did I say temporary enough?

It is unfortunate that linked server players don’t show as their own server names in red.

Fair warning to anyone thinking of transferring to FA:

You will likely face Maguuma/DR again in the very near future, and we got some shiny new fight guilds that just transferred and are looking to rumble. >;)

Compare to 550g for Very High and 300g for High
the math is real simple! you can transfer more people to HOD with the same cost!

The reason Tier 2 is the best option is because tier 1 is too blobby/toxic and then when you look at tier 4 those people get moved around A LOT, and in tier 3 less fights and people to face. Tier 2 is a more healthy stable fun place to be. It is a place a guild can come and flourish. Since Fort Aspenwood was set to high for population that is only 300 gold in gems to go there. So now is the best time to move, it is open, and it has space and the price is great to move. Normally all these factors aren’t all in play. FA is a nice community, the people are fun, we have great commanders, militia can hold their own. I’ve been on FA for 3 yrs and it has a lot of heart. Everyone is really nice, the commanders fun and competent, guilds who are here are like family/friends. It’s nice to relax and chill in wvw. We on FA come to wvw to have actual fun as the main goal. Fort Aspenwood is a great place for a guild to come to to settle down. If a guild is from t4 and you come then you won’t be moved around against your will, if you’re from t3 you can see more action. Some guilds that came to fa just recently have commented how they like how nice everyone is, how we work together, and that they see action.

You forgot the OTHER great benefit of being in the same server as Dcon: you can always run with one of the best EOTM commanders in the game!

So just a bump, but also to clarify, a lot of people are showing killing stats from another website to measure “activity”, that is there just to show you how bad things are on those tiers, 1-push fights all over the place, so if you want to win easy, by all means go to T3 and 1 push the opposition.
If you want to be bored by endless blobs, go to T1, but if you enjoy good fights, and want to kill your enemies by skill rather than numbers, and actually test yourself against other skilled groups, then join us in T2, but act fast while it is still cheap.

Defense is terrible, although I’m thinking it might be because people know that it’s not really worth holding on to anything with how badly JQ outnumbers us most of the day. Still, no one seems to be able to read a map. Things get taken with 0 effort involved on JQ/YB’s behalf because no one even shows up to stop them or slow them down.

The PUG’s are also meh in zergs. Some good fighters but they’re easy to break up under pressure.

I’m not gonna make any serious evaluations of the server until there’s a more balanced match up because right now, JQ outnumbers us for a good 6 hours of the day. Maybe things will change when people know it’s worth the effort. If it’s still the same with a different match, I’m outta here. I find no fun on a server that doesn’t indulge in every kind of combat and defense is where some of the best fights come from.

Wish I was there for that. Usually all I see is people staring at the attackers from a distance hoping maybe they’ll be able to pierce their armor with heat vision or something. At least for the brief period I was on the SF/GoM/FC pairing people would actively defend things instead of just standing there like a drone.

@Spell, run with one of FA’s many fight-oriented guilds, BOMB, BEEP, covn, sV, DIE, HEL, and a bunch more that I am forgetting.
