All I’ve seen from you BG guys in the forums lately is “Bg isn’t playing right now, we on break mode”. Don’t question the ppt.

I just logged in and saw this… no BG in our tier… this should make for an interesting battle if JQ still has a strong SEA.

Variety is cool… but in a way … I feel sorry for the others in t2 facing BG …. the salt will be real by end of weekend, if not the end of tonight

I feel like I should be getting a little worried. I don’t remember our wvw community just dropping off like this. (I mean except for those times where wvw was just in an all-around poor state)

Lol I love it. People complain about stale match ups, glicko, not enough variety. This week is as variety as it gets. Interested to see how it plays out.

Was actually a fun reset night. Mags/DR is holding their own. I’m sure we will fall behind in PPT over the night hours though. But the fights in BG BL were fun.

Sigh, BG did not drop to T2, they are just matched up against two T2 servers due to the random draw. BG is still the 2nd place server.

BG could also crush the others if they chose to do so.

Mag – “We’re awesome guys, KDR, KDR, KDR, Place that AC right here we got this”.

BG – “ins’t mag cute, maybe we should let them win this week because wtf not”.

WVW already dead. we don’t need to kill anyone, we just need to capture town, keep , camp, bay than win !!

Darkhaven and Sorrow’s Furnace (and their subsidiary allies) are between a rock and a hard place in T4. Once SBI gets done steam-rolling them this week, CD (or someone else) will drop back down to T4 and they’ll do the steam-rolling.

Which is why in another thread I mentioned that DH & SF really need to get some cooperation going…nothing that drops down into T4 will be easy if we are also fighting each other on top of that.

Good fights from BG tonight in ebg. been awhile since we had a solid server to fight.

For better or worse this was an expected consequence of linked servers. Population naturally bleeds out of the servers which are full (TC, BG, YB) and into non-full servers. I’ve been tossing up moving to Kaineng simply because TC is full.

At the end of the day I don’t really care about BG dropping into T2. What I’m more interested in is whether, by the end of the season, T1 will be entirely comprised of linked servers. If guilds are able to move into T1 because of linked servers, it’ll ultimately be a more lively scene.

That’s more or less exactly what I expect from BG. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if ANet has explicitly restructured the server pop status to bias against BG to protect the game against their ‘breaks’.

When the queues on reset only got as high as 6 on the borderlands, then you have to question how ‘full’ bg actually is. as far as I know bg isn’t trying to not show up, just people are currently bored. t1 was a snooze tier.

Whats the fun in not playing for a few weeks so you can outstack the other servers in the current game? none. Maybe back during seasons, but the past year has been stale and stacking isn’t anyone priority as far as I’m aware. the year my guild has been on bg not once has the server taken a break to open up

You are very right, the queue means nothing. I was just simply stating that it was very low for a tier one server, while the queues on DB were 30-40 all night on the bls and they are a HOST server that is still open.

You are very right, the queue means nothing. I was just simply stating that it was very low for a tier one server, while the queues on DB were 30-40 all night on the bls and they are a HOST server that is still open.

But there are IoJ people taking space on DB queues tho. The only way we’ll know if DB is really “full” worthy is when IoJ gets unlinked. We can already see that DB+IoJ is worth of “full” status, but changing the current status would be unfair if the servers alone aren’t worth of it.

In the end, nothing is fair in WvW… All is vain.

Lol people always forget that BG was the largest population server before megaservers hit. When ANet gives us something to hype WvW up, some of that PvE population shows up and shows how stacked BG would still be if megaservers went away. That’s what the ‘hibernating’ is, other than as a meme :p

Just chiming in to say – happy to see a new matchup this week. DB came out fighting last night and it was a lot of fun, JQ even came out fighting lot less people overall but they came, they fighting , lot of good fights last night. Hoping it holds out all week in kitten … well … that doesn’t look like it will be fun at all Looks like a replica of t4 atm. T3 looks like you guys might be having some decent battles, but I couldn’t say either way.

Thanks DB for coming out strong, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

Try us on JQ, the enemies have no strategies besides blob or spam 1. I wish I were joking, but the lag is so bad sometimes that this is what I’m seeing constantly. When it’s not, we tend to do quite a number on them, or at least get a hefty amount of bags. We need back in T2…I apologize to our SEA crew because they’re getting the fights they want, but T1 is seriously crap, I don’t know how anybody can stand it up here.

Depends, if one or two maps (EB/Home BL) are 100% your colour then you wouldn’t expect a queue on a map with nothing to take.
