So, what Badges of honour are for are; the gift of battle, weapon and armour skins, and blueprints. Because of the achievement chests recently everyone has stacks of them, regardless of if they have done any wvw at all – but thats a seperate topic I won’t go into. Basically I want to know if there is a way of making money from the badges, now blueprints are tradeable id buy them and sell but they still require gold to buy so… yeah. How can i make gold from them?

Turn badges into siege perhaps..?

Siege wouldn’t work as the vendor price is higher then the trading post sell price. Which makes sense. Why would anyone buy from players at a higher price if they could get the blueprints cheaper from the WvW vendors? UNLESS superior siege begins to sell for a high price. If you had massive stocks of the materials used to make superior siege and you converted siege blueprints you bought into superior blueprints then you MAY be able to make money off of them badges. Arrow carts and rams would be the most likely culprits to keep your eye on as they are used the most and thus supply is likely to dry up faster and demand would be higher then other siege.

Other then that there is no way to make gold off of badges.

I’ve been trying to figure it out also. People always suggest siege since you can trade them now but the market has been so flooded with them that you now just break even or lose money.

Not sure what to spend mine on. I have full exotics, don’t want a legendary, and my bags are already packed with siege. I had high hopes for spending them on ascended but they still require all those luarels, so I easily make enough badges to get the next item as I build up the laurel requirements. Would love to have something to spend my excess badges on in the mean time.

Can you toilet those rares? I didn’t think you could.

you can toilet anything, even karma items. Before the Orrian boxes I started toileting Temple gear because I had nothing for my karma to go to.

You can’t put the badge purchased exotic weapons in the forge… I tried.

I don’t think you can put karma purchased items into the mystic forge either.

I know Karma items used to forge months ago, but I have not tried recently.

I just tried yesterday to put my rabid dagger from WvW purchased with badges in the forge, and it will not go.

Oh wonder if they changed it then. Cos I was able to convert items about three weeks ago. Hrm.
