I created this thread in order to take an inventory of what balances the community would like to see in WvW with regards to skills and profession mechanics. List your top three and upvote this thread! XD

1) Cool down on the original Guardian skills. Why can Revenant have a 2sec broken hammer skill and a guardian has consecration skills that take 96sec to recharge.

2) Return stability back to duration instead of stacks.

3) Guardian DH resolve needs a 3/4sec evade and DH courage should be an instant cast for better synergy with the virtues trait line.

Stealth needs to be reworked in WvW to account for wide open spaces and the ease of escape/resets. Classes that rely heavily on stealth should be buffed to compensate.

Hammer 2 range should be shorter. Other classes can’t even get range in choke fights because reves just spam hammer 2 whole time.

The way you think is probrably the reason why this game mode is so broken.
“Since the other class has an skill that is broken.. make my skills broken as well.. cause that would make things fair”

Wvw needs mechanics that motivate what the game mode name says: “worlds fighting each other”
Remove the pve events.
Remove auto upgrades.
Remove auto firing siege weapons.
Remove eind blowing fields that pushes ppl alway from bridges.
Remove rocks that spawn and blocks paths.
Remove so much verticality that makea it hard to actually encounter other worlds.
Add faster ways to move around map that doesnt require zillions of pve resources and emergency wps.
Add benefits extra benefits for holding structures such as keeps/towers and defending them
Merge some of the servers.. i know this is very complex subject and there is always the server pride speech but..well face it… some servers with these nrw BLs turned into NO WVW servers..
Could try to experiment server alliances on bottom tiers to make it more interesting..
Lowering the number of servers has many benefits.. and since pve is unaffected right now by this change…could revitalize the game mode and the gw2 esport community…

Balance classes but not by making all broken and op… just make them viable.. clearly there are classes out there that needs to be tonned down such as rev / eng. And some that needs to be tonned up such as warriors / thieves… also there are others that just needs some tweaks to be on the right spot.. no need for huge boosts or nerfs..

But the way you think just make more ppl leave and make this game less and less interesting..

Nah. I main ele but I multiclass. I was just trying to get the conversation started. All you really did was tell me I was wrong without telling me why I was wrong. That really is not constructive at all. What do you main because apparently my comments on guardian were offensive?

^THIS. Though really even making these changes I still think they need to make the DBL smaller. Even with increasing ability to get around the map it will still be a pain to find the enemies and not just be hoping ( hopping around hoping to find enemies to fight) everywhere. We need more time in action and less time looking for it all together. Instead of making the game play itself, they need to give incentives to players to want to play it. Creating an environment that facilitates and encourages fun player interacted action packed game play focuses on allowing more players to fight without lag, what players can do to each other rather than making an annoying environment disrupting the fun and directs the focus on the fight itself rather than on avoiding it. Players should be able to come in focus on fighting other players and earn everything they need to play wvw while doing it. That way they can just focus on having fun rather than having to farm to have fun.

1- Revert all aoe cap nerfs. I used to scoff at this idea, hah.
2- Give combo fields different base visuals when fighting ZvZ to tell wtf you are standing on, also an indicator for multiple stacked fields so you can know what will ultimately be blasted
3- Dont revert stab changes. Increase stacks on key skills, buff group stab on other classes (ele rock solid, mes mantra of concentration, nec foot in the grave)

Team Deathmatch for PvP – Raise the AoE cap for WvW – More unique events for PvE

Nah. I main ele but I multiclass. I was just trying to get the conversation started. All you really did was tell me I was wrong without telling me why I was wrong. That really is not constructive at all. What do you main because apparently my comments on guardian were offensive?

It doesnt really matter what i main..
What wvw need right now is not a class balance.
Wvw was fun during extremely unbalanced times…
What wvw needs is a mechanics revamp cause the new BLs implemented to much stuff for to few players and it was made in such a way that it makes it harder to actually do what players are looking for when they join this game mode.
When ppl join wvw they dont wanna kill dinosaurs to pick up cores and run around delivering them to npcs.
They dont wanna run around the map for 30 minutes looking for enemies to find more and more npcs
They dont wanna go into keeps with auto firing weaps eith noone defending
They wanna go atound…find enemies and fight them.. simple as that.. but anet makes it complicated.
The sentry idea was actually great.. now you can see your enemy move through the map from far away…
Next step is.. how to get there without needing to walk 142424152 miles.. more wps into t3 towers would be an idea…. i dont know.. but clearly…
We need ways to move around the map faster then walking…
Even more now with the new BLs.. eith all this verticality if you see a sentry pop to far you just say: “kitten it… not worth going all the way there… when we get there they gonna wp off.. so just lwt them pvd and whe go pvd later”

Thats how bls are right now…
