Can we get an option to toggle this on and off, since with the faster bolt upgrade the arrow falls quicker and you can’t hit targets that you could hit before with it so in some cases it feels like a downgrade instead of an upgrade, having a toggle to put this on or off would solve this.

I am still very confused as to whether those bolts just fly faster? the animation of firing faster? or recharge is faster?

the tooltip on skill 1 went down from 3 to 2 seconds, but it still only fires every 3 seconds (and even the blackout recharge dial lasts 3 seconds) not sure of the other skill’s recharge
But all in all not the most* worthwhile upgrade,

Cant say i noticed a range decrease though

I’ve confirmed it that you can actually hit targets you couldn’t, range wise, with the speed upgrade, so I guess it goes both ways.

Perhaps using the trait mechanic for the WXP stuff could solve it.

From my understanding, it means that the arrows fly faster, not a matter of CD.
Yet, I don’t understand the problem of OP, does not make sense to have arrows fall quicker if you have faster arrows, it should actually be the opposite O_o
I’ve only unlocked this yesterday but I disconnected before having the chance to test this so I can’t tell for myself. I hope it’s not the case, otherwise, it’s a bug.

The arc of the faster bolt is lower so when i shoot at targets upwards my other 2 skills hit, and before i could hit that aswell with bolt 1 but now i can’t anymore because the arc is lower and it doesn’t curve over so to say.

And yes in some situations it’s better but in most upward it’s worse, hench the reason why i’d like a toggle on/off.

After testing some more even on rather even heights if there is a small ramp it just shoots into it while the normal shot shoots over it, so i kinda find it more a downgrade sadly, hope they give us the option to put this on and off.

Woah this must be fixed/changed o.O. A plain upgrade should not come at the price of usability.

Heartseeker has had the same problem with Quickness since forever, doubt Arena Net will change this.

Kinda bumping this in the hope some dev sees it and perhaps gives us the toggle on/off option atm i feel pretty kitten when taking out siege and my bolt can’t hit but my other skills can =(
